Antique Pale Blue Victorian Sofa
When we purchased this sofa in 1995 we were told by the dealer that it was handcarved and that it had been built in New England in the late 1800's. I really don't know if this is true and will have to rely on the buyer's expertise. After purchasing this ugly green sofa on the advice of a decorator. We had it professionally(expensively) recovered in a pale blue. The sofa is currently in North Augusta, South Carolina(within 2 miles of I-20 at the GA line) Buyer will be responsible for picking it up or having it delivered.

All measurements are approximate but it is 2 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches long. No maker's mark that I can find. Please look closely at the photos so you can judge condition. I am not an expert. But try hard to make sure the pictures tell the story. This fun piece was purchased at an estate auction. The estate belonged to an elderly woman who had collected these little boxes for decades. The store said the man who consigned it told them it was passed down in his family and was made in Vienna, Austria and dated back to 1860. He claimed his wife never liked it and because of this it was stored in an unused bedroom. After pressure from his wife he decided to sell it in hopes that someone would buy it who would appreciate it. It has been lovingly taken care of by me since 1986 and I hate to sell it, but we just don't have the room for it anymore. Up for auction with a low starting bid is a nice retro or mid-century modern style couch. The couch is in good condition for its age. This is a French style mahogany sofa with the most unusual design. And that is extra large in length and depth. It is all wrapped in solid ... moremahogany, all carved around the entire frame, including the curved arms and the reverse curved fronts of the arms, and also on the carved skirt with the cabriole legs. It has a wine colored and beige fleur-de-lis upholstery, and has three foam cushioned seats that are extra deep for comfort. We believe it dates from the 1940s. The overall size is 85 inches long on the outside of the arms, and 72 inches on the inside. The depth is 26 inches deep, which is 2 to 3 inches deeper than normally. It is 45 inches high to the top of the couch, and the arms are 30 inches high. The seat is 17 inches high. It’s a really nice-looking sofa. Pair 1960's Vtg MCM Mersman Floating Step Side Lounge Sofa Table Danish Retro
This is a very beautiful pair of matching Mersman suspended step tables in excellent condition. The lower rear section is suspended entirely from the top section by solid birch wood supports. Which is unusual and makes for a nice floating design element. They are large measuring 24" tall, 19 1/2" wide and 32" long. So they would be right at home with a wide couch or lounge chair. They are in excellent condition with no chips in the laminated top. The brass tipped legs have some wear to the black finish which has been touched up in places. They will be dissembled for shipping, just 8 screws per table to reassemble. Thank you!

Up for auction with NO RESERVE is this fantastic Mid Century Modern love seat/ sofa with brass accents.Side pillow straps, on a walnut pedestal base, covered in hornet's hounds-tooth upholstery. This loveseat has a very Milo Baughman feel but, there are no marks indicating designer or maker that I have found. There are two small tears in the upholstery which are pictured. We bought this set from the family of the original owner who bought these pieces from the Stylette Company in North Carolina in the late 1940s/early 1950s. Black& white vinyl with button upholstery; vinyl arm overlays; rolling castors on the front of each piece& wooden legs on the back; very comfortable. All three pieces are in incredible condition-no rips. Stains, or tears. The only"flaw" we could find is that the dust fabric of the underside of the white chair has been replaced. Luxurious rare antique sofa
This antique sofa is very comfortable in addition to its uniqueness and beauty. I bought it few months ago from original owner. He said it was his grandmother's and he was in his 50-ies so assume this sofa must be from 1900-1950-ies or even older. The fabric does show wear. So it can be reupholstered or at least cushions. I tried to repaint the back of one of the cushions with fabric paint. As you can see on the picture, but it didn't look good.
