The upholstery on the seat is surprisingly intact, although stained and very worn and faded. I am unsure of the wood that the chair is made from but it looks like maple. It has beautiful grain and a wonderful shape and curve to the back. The front legs have a very slight curve to them that is synonymous with sabor style legs. The chair is 17.5" wide across the front of the seat, 34" tall at the back, 17" tall at the seat, 16" deep at the seat, 35" tall at the side of the back, 13.5" wide across the back of the seat.
