It was likely made in the early 1900's. Made of oak. And has a spooncarved front. There are no identifying markings. It is in excellent shape and it has the original finish. Brass fittings show a bit of tarnish but should clean up easily with a little TLC. Three of the posts on the brass rail at the top are loose but can be easily secured with a little bit of attention. One of the rail ends is stripped so that will need to be secured as well. Otherwise this piece is ready for your home. I would be happy to provide more detailed photos if requested. I hate to part with such a beautiful and unique item but we no longer have the room and it just doesn't fit our decor. The dimensions are 40 1/2” tall its tallest point. 33 1/2“ wide at its widest point at the base, and 19” deep when closed,and 34“ deep when opened. Local pickup only.

It is a nice dresser with a large size vanity mirror and is in fair to good ... morecondition. The mirror is removable, but it is a unique attachment that needs to be un-attached from the inside. The dresser features 5 drawers, all with circle drop pulls, and dovetail joints. The mirror has lovely lightly carved details and the dresser has fluted legs on the front. I am unsure of its age of the dresser, but it bears the label inside one of the top drawers of Landstrom Furniture Corporation, Rockford Illinois. I am unsure of the type of wood that the dresser is made from, but I would guess mahogany.
