1907 Tapered Square Box Porch Column Post, #1
I have 3 of these tapered. Square box porch columns up for the taking in 3 separate listings. You are bidding on ONE. Column#1 is approximately 56 3/4" tall, 8" square at the top, and about the same at the bottom. All came from a craftsman style home built in 1907, located in Old Town Orange, CA. I have cleaned them by scraping off all loose paint, feathering remaining paint, priming and painting with a antique white, roughing them back up again with a finishing sander, and polishing out with dark floor polish. To these heavenly columns I added the tops so that they be used to display your collectibles. I hate to let them go but one can only keep so much stuff. So let one or all be yours today! Hi for sale I have a rare Antique solid wood carved Column. I believe the wood is either oak or mahogany. It is painted white and has a chippy patina. This piece could be used as an accent piece. Table, or plant stand. Only a few others online for sale. This piece measures: 49 1/8" tall x top diameter: 11 1/4" x bottom diameter: 11 1/8" square. The piece was handmade. This column is heavy and large. I put it on the bathroom scale and it had a weight of around 50 to 60 pounds. The column has a knotch at one of the top middle sections( see photo# 6) I believe this was put there so it would fit at a staircase. PAIR 1885 Pierced Walnut Victorian Furniture Corbel Carved Column Shelf Brackets
Matching pair of salvaged. 2 sided, antique brackets. They have pierced, bevelled carving with incised carving. Their ends are nicely contoured with ornately carved medallions above. The wood is walnut. Each one measures approx. 14 inches by 5 1/8 inches. They are almost 2 inches thick. If a smaller corbel/bracket is desired, their length can be cut in half VERY easily. Then they would make classy, antique bookends. One small chip, but excellent patina with no breaks or repairs. Winner gets the pair shown. Many other Victorian era parts listed. 60"H Antique Cherry Stair Landing Pilaster Staircase Newel Post Baluster Column
Penn Antique Restoration. 60"H Antique Victorian Cherry Pilaster. Charming. Antique, pilaster(half post) salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The piece is made of solid cherry, and has an unusual design consisting of 2 chamfered edges and 3 concave sides. The edges and sides taper at the top and all come together at a central point. There is a spectacular, carved floral motif on all 3, concave sides, at the top. On the opposite end, there is a smaller, more compact floral motif. This pilaster was installed against a wall. At the top of a landing. There was a matching newel post installed at the top of the stair case, which connected to this pilaster by a straight handrail. We are offering the post in another auction. There is a chance that we may have the original handrail, or at least one that could be used-email ... moreus for more info. The upper motif on the front side. Was cut short(about 2" slightly at the bottom. It was trimmed in order to cut a mortise(hole) for the handrail. If you like, we could patch/plug the mortise-email us for a quote. Refinish/Repaint: The pilaster is finished with a very dark stain. And painted white on the bottom. Antique Ingraham Mantel Clock. E. Ingraham 4 Column Clock, Beautiful Restoration Up for auction is an E. Ingraham 4 pillar mantel clock that has been fully restored. This is a very stunning clock. The case has been completely disassembled and all the pieces thoroughly cleaned. This clock had HEAVY alligatoring when I received it. I have re-amalgamated the finish slightly. What remains of the alligatoring is minor and compliments the clock very well. I then waxed all components individually before reassembling it. There was a crack in the case as seen in the last photo. When the case was apart. I reinforced that crack to eliminate the threat of it widening. What you see is all the worse it will be. The bezel has been polished to a nice shine. The face plate is original, I cleaned it with mild cleaners and besides some slight fading, looks ... moregreat. The feet and the ornamantation had some plate loss to them, they have been touched up with a quality paint. The movement has been completely inspected, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, and oiled and lubed(movement and springs) The clock has been bench tested and it keeps good time and chimes out on the half hour once and the hour per the time. The case measures 16" x 7" x 11" INcluded is a signed Ingraham key and pendulum(not original to the clock) As with all my clocks, I am starting it out at a low opening bid with no reserve. Nice Early Vintage Cast Iron Doorstop - Ribbon & Column
This auction is for a wonderful vintage cast iron doorstop and I think it is called"Ribbon& Column. It stands 7.5" tall x almost 5" wide and it is beautifully shaped. It is very heavy and it is in good condition except it has some paint wear. Paint chips, dings, etc. in other words normal age appropriate condition and the green felt on the bottom has worn thin. This lovely early cast iron doorstop also has a slight chip in the iron towards the back of the back righthand corner. Even so it is pretty incredible for its age and as you can see it displays beautifully. It is such a great find.

ANTIQUE BADUF CB GERMAN 2 COLUMN MANTLE CLOCK 8 DAY STRIKING WOOD GONG KEY WIND
Up for auction is this Antique Baduf German Wood Mantle Clock. This clock is for parts or repair. The clock is in good cosmetic condition. The case of the clock is made out of wood. There are no cracks or repairs anywhere in the wood case of the clock. The wood does show the normal signs of use with minor surface scratches but nothing to take away from its appearance. The clock appears to have its Original Beveled Glass dial cover. The glass is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The clock has a brass colored bezel. The dial of the clock is a brushed silver metal dial. The dial has black hands and black Roman numerals for hour markers. There are 2 brass colored metal columns on each side of the clock. I do not know if the clock works or not as the pendulum arm has come off the clock. The arm is present and will need to be put back ... moreon. The clock is also supposed to strike on the half hour and count the hours on the hour. I cannot get this function to work. The clock does click like it wants to strike but does not strike. The movement of the clock is brass. On the movement of the clock it is marked- CB Hallmark(Baduf) 8363, 12 1/2” I am sorry I do not have the key for the clock. The clock measures approx. 12 1/4” tall by 9 1/2” wide by 5” deep. I took a lot of pictures to show you what you are receiving. Please look at the pictures as to the condition of the item.
