The ball Clock measures 2.75 inches wide and keeps excellent time. 8 day French movement marked France and 8days Dial is signed Perrineau& Fils PAU. This would be a great decoration on a desk at work. The Stand is 11.35 inches in height and the base is 4 inches by 4 inches. The Turned Fluted Column gives the clock a great look which is a harder to find than the plain straight column. This Ball clock was made special for the eagles beak due to a small grounded area on the clock ring for it to fit into the eagles beak. Coil Spring Column Skeleton Clock
This is a 11 inch high clock under a 12 inch round glass dome. The dial is 4 3/4 inch skeletonized porcelain face. Showing the delicately designed gears of the clock. It has a chain fussee movement inside the dial, connected to the pulley that expends the coiled spring which provides the power to the clock. The expansion of the spring is seen when the clock is wound. There are six gold electroplate columns which create the tower to the clock which sits on top of a white marble base. No returns. Gorgeous Primitive Antique Solid Wood Column Table Base Pedestal Shabby White The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! I do not know exactly what this one started out life as- was it an architectural piece. Or a table base or something else- but it will be yours to decide now- it's a drop dead gorgeous piece. Made of solid wood, it has carved out ovals all around in typical column form. Both ends are unfinished- one end having a ... morehole in the center, and the other end has the same hole, as well as a smaller hole at the side of that base. You can see that hole in photo 13, and then again in photos 15& 16- there's a 1" crack that starts at the larger base hole and runs for 1" out pointing right at the side hole! Now, that end of the base has what appears to be very old and very worn green felt on it- I'm not sure why- did the former owner use this as a pedestal and put it on? I don't know, but there's still some left on to do the job for you. The piece measures 20 1/8" tall. It's 5 7/8" diameter at the end in photo 4(the end without the felt) and then 6" diameter at the end in photo 15(with felt) That end is a little different in that it has rounded edges and a carved inset that goes around just under the end- which the other side does not have. The piece weighs a he afty 7 lbs. LETS talk about the PATINA now! I'm saving that for last because it is truly the icing on the cake! It has a very very very worn creamy white patina for its last coat of paint(which seems to have been a while ago) and under that, you can see other colors too- I see tan, light blue

There are ornately fluted with stepped square bases and Corinthian columns. They have removable bead-edged bobeches and are marked on the top of the socket with pseudo-hallmarks. Which you can just read as"MB Co" for Mappin Brothers. This is early silverplate, circa 1850. The base is weighted and covered in felt. The candlesticks stand 8 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches on a side. I finished them today and will seal the finish with a gold leaf varnish which will protect the finish from tarnish or flaking. I think they look ever so much better now. Love them. There are areas that appear worn, the finish only not the brass, and I left them there so they show some age charm. I do believe these date to 1960's around that era. Could be older, just not sure. The gold leaf product is a gorgeous gold, not garish at all. The candle sticks measure 14" x 4 1/2" wide at the base and 9 3/4" x 4 1/2" at the base.These are heavy weight sticks, just lovely in their design.
