Girl and boy, dolls. they have exquisite detailing and completely hand stitched clothing. the boy is wearing a real fur hat with the head of the animal still attached i believe it is a mink. And very well made, even has sewn material inside. and the rest of his outfit is in good shape as well and has nice boots that are still in tact. he is in good shape. Incised"Minerva" Germany 7" I do not know her past history since she is from a collector/artist estate but will describe the best I can. This doll measures 19" tall being a metal tin shoulder head on old cloth body with leather type legs, she has composition hands with fingers intact. I do not know if she has had any restorations, she may have had. Lovely face with big open blue"glass" eyes looking to the side, I believe eyes have been fixed to stay open. Painted lashes around the eyes she has feathered brown brows and open mouth with no teeth. A lovely expressive face! 20" old vintage composition Madame Alexander 1937 Princess Elizabeth child Doll
I am pleased to offer you this lovely vintage composition Princess Elizabeth doll. Madame Alexander Dolls 1937+. Incised on the back of her head"Princess Elizabeth Alexander" as shown in my photo, I do not know her past history but will try to describe her the best I can. Included is her all painted bisque 1940s, 7" play doll incised"K& H" all together intact but could use light cleaning. Elizabeth" measures 20" tall being all composition, strung fine, jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs with all fingers and toes intact. Overall age wear, I see no cracks, very light crazing throughout nothing terrible at all. Doll has a beautiful face with clear open and close blue sleepy eyes, retains upper hair lashes on eye lids, there are painted lashes below the eyes, remains of shadow on her eye lids, dark ... moreblonde brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth and felt tongue. Paint wear on lips. Long mohair auburn brunette wig is glued on her head, it is charming but does show some wear. just removed her from my china cabinet this morning for another photo shoot. She is so pretty looking at her pictures that were listed on ebay I realized they were not very good! I assume she is likely from the Mattel line of dolls. But can't say for sure without the tag. Most of these dolls were made around 1985 based on a little research I did online. She will come to you without clothing, just as I found her at a yard sale. Her tush has the MY CHILD heart on it. She has mild soiling, but not too bad for a doll that must have been loved by her previous owner! Her blonde hair needs restyling, but it has a bit of curl remaining. I don't think it has been cut, but can't say for sure since I purchased her secondhand. I don't know if she had a topknot or ponytails. Vintage 1985 Mattel My Child doll. Nice vintage condition. Very clean with no odors. She is wearing a lavender floral print dress. Lavender socks, and white panties. The elastic is stretched out on her panties. I am not sure if this outfit is original to her. Her dress is in excellent condition with no rips or stains. Her body is very clean with no soiling. Her hair is nice and shiny but could use a good brushing. I do not think her hair has been cut but I am not that familiar with these dolls so I cannot be certain. She has face skin is loose. This doll is in excellent condition. The felt on her face is very nice. Her joints are tight. Her hair is soft. The clothes were handmade. She will be a great addition to anyone's collection. All the My Child Dolls that I sell are in used condition and have been previously loved. I do my best to describe any flaws but if you are concerned about anything specific please email me before bidding. I am not a professional restorer although I enjoy attempting to make them beautiful. I use Prisma colored pencils to do the make up but I do not set it. So you can change it if you choose. This is a nice vintage My Child Doll by Mattel. It has a tag on it that says 1985. It also has a handwritten number on the tag that I guess these were numbered by hand. It comes with a little jumper and booties. I don't know if they are original to the doll or not? She also comes with a little cowgirl fringed outfit and shoes that are vintage cabage patch. I am just throwing that one in because it fits her. The jumper and booties are in good condition. The doll is in good played with condition. She has been packed away for quite a few years and has some faint dust/dirt on her. I didn't want to try and clean her in any way. Because I didn't want to do something to mess her up. Her hair is in good condition. It is in layers in the back. I don't know what she looked like new. Please look at all pictures and ask any/all questions ... moreBEFORE bidding. And the plugs seem to be all there, but some in one area in front are thin. There are some bangs caught up in the longer strands on top, but I couldn't get them to come down without having the longer hair in front. Hopefully someone can style it right. Also, one of the pictures I posted earlier of her arm, does not show up in the photo, and I forgot to mention it has a spot on the back elbow. It didn't show up in picture. The light made it fade out. Anyway, wanted you to know.If you have more questions, please ask.thanks. On Feb-07-14 at 09:11:01 PST.
