Lovely Vintage CHILD or DOLL APRON
This is a small vintage apron for a doll or a small child. It is made of a thin. Almost sheer very pale pink fabric. The apron is clean and has no stains. The ties are a bit worn and some holes have started from the wear and the top of each ties has started to pull away a tiny bit at the top(can see in photo) It measures 9" long and is 12" wide. The fabric I believe is lawn linen, but I cannot say with certainty. It is a semi sheer lightly woven natural fiber. It could be cotton. I have shown a photo of the back with tied belts. Early Antique Vintage Primitive Child's Doll Red Black Wool Lined Dress 19th C
This is a very sweet antique toddler's/child's dress. Probably dating to the mid 1800's. What struck me about this dress was the fact that it is all hand-stitched work, truly a work of love from a mother to her child. It is in rough condition and I will describe as best as I can. This dress measures 23 1/2 inches from the shoulder to the bottom hem. It is red wool with black fabric trim and is completely lined by hand. The wrist openings measure 3 1/4 inches across. The neck opening is 4 1/4 inches across when the metal clasps are secured. the waist measures 13 1/2 inches across and the chest is 12 inches across. There are small holes all over this dress from age. It has a water stain along the top left area. It has no odors. This dress would be nice for an antique bisque head doll. 1940'S CHILD'S OR DOLL COAT DOUBLE BREASTED WOOL MILITARY STYLE KEEP EM FLYING
This is just a darling little blue wool coat. Probably from the 1940's. I base this on its look and the small patch that was perhaps sewn on by a loving mother, I can just imagine that someone in the family was involved with the aircraft industry and was proud enough of their work to have a patch sewn on their child's little coat. The coat has no label. It is double breasted and has a back belt with buttons. The coat is fully lined. The measurements are as follows: back length of coat(neckline to bottom hem) 14.5" across the back(shoulder seam to shoulder seam) 11.5" and length of sleeve 10.5" This might be about a toddler size 2. The coat does have two small moth? holes- one is in picture 6 on the right shoulder; the other is in picture 4 one inch below the bottom button. There is no other damage to the coat. This is an adorable little pink silk gown for a baby girl. The camera washed out the color. But it is a light pink. It has embroidered flowers on it. it measures approx 11 inches across the chest under the arms and approx 17 inches from shoulder to hem. I believe it is from the 30's, but am not sure. It is in used condition with light wear and some stains. I see no holes. it has the two original Mother of Pearl buttons at the back. It has been stored but does not smell musty or smokey. This little girl's sweet apron was my mother's who was born in 1928. Please see all 12 photos and enlarge for more description. This are some small spots that I tried to show in the photos. Ribbon ties have stains. Some yellowing due to age but not bad. I am not expert so please study the photos. Measures about 18.5" long and 34" across at the hem lying flat. Waist band alone without ties is 15" There are dainty lace edges on the hem and waist. Could be used for a vintage big doll. This fabric is very soft and is thin. Shipping to continental USA only.

This rare. 51-inch wooden doll, is stamped COPYRIGHT/FINESSE DISPLAYS INC.220 EAST 194TH STREET/BRONX N.Y. PATENT PENDING on one side and MEDIUM/WOODIKIDS/TRADE MARK on the other. In searching for information on Finesse Inc, I learned that the company presently occupying this address, is Finesse Furniture Design, Inc. I also learned that a patent for Finesse Inc, was issued in 1965 and retired in 1980. As pictured, the mannequin is multi-jointed with screws in many areas, making shipping, or storing a breeze. Because it is so liberally jointed, it can also be posed in a multitude of creative ways. Without anything other than light signs of age, it has yellow yarn hair and velvety facial features. Vintage Ethnic doll: Mother with Child . Garber
I am beginning to sell my doll collection from when I was a child. Living in Europe, in the 1950's. This is the first doll. She is an ethnic doll, perhaps African, holding her baby in her arms. The details are amazing on this doll, from the hoop earing, to the beautiful painted faces on mother and child, the fringed blanket that the baby is in, the hand-sewn patch on the mom's dress, the bracelet on the mom's arm, the necklace around her neck, and the straw basket. I love her cute little skinny legs, too. Adorable. In a sitting position, she is appx 6" high. Excellent condition, however the slip that the mother is wearing has yellowed just a bit. This child's leather purse was a souvenir from a western state. Probably from the 1970s. The little girl is all beaded, with a big hat. She is not quite 2" tall. The purse has not been used and is plain on the back. It is 6" long and 5" side at the bottom. The only condition issue is a rubbed spot on one snap. The strap is 25" long. This sweet vintage pillowcase is from my Mom's collection. It is made of cotton and measures 20-1/2" x 13" It has beautiful lace trim! I'm not sure of its age but it appears to be quite old. I does have some very pale yellow spots that are not easily seen. I did not launder it so I'm sure that with a gentle soaking with your favorite"formula" this will wash out! Small tourism doll with original information card. 3 1/2" tall rubber head. Arms and legs with cloth body. The doll wears a felted black robe with yellow ribbon, red shoes, pointed black hat and is in like new condition. The paper card shows some signs of age but is in great condition. The"Münchner Kindl" the little Munich child- is the symbol for the Bavarian city of Munich. The name of the town comes from Munichen, or"monks" and this symbol of a Benedictine monk has been the coat-of-arms of Munich since the 13th century. This adorable round-faced. Blue-eyed beauty has a perfect head made by talented doll artist Damaris Alves, marked"Da" in the back. She stands about 9" tall. She has lovely blue yes and blue earrings to match. Her new composition body is tightly strung and fully jointed. She has a new, light golden mohair wig. Her pretty peachy-pink satin dress snaps in the back and she wears simple, hand-sewn bloomers under it. She wears older shoes with beautiful pink decorations. UP FOR ADOPTION here is a larger size"adorable" artist reproduction of 1930s Ideal Shirley Temple doll. I do not know her past history but will describe her with any flaws the best I can. Signed by doll artist"Barbara Carroll" on the side of her neck. From an Oregon museum, doll is also signed on her behind by the artist who made this body. R Hood" is incised on the upper back. A larger size Shirley who measures 26" tall being all composition, a replica, newer composition Sealy type body) strung and jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs with all fingers and toes intact. Fingers and toes accented with red lines for that"life-like" appearance. Looking at this composition head I see past line crack"REPAIRS" on the back side of head, see photo. I looked inside this head to see a little glue ... moreresidue from this repair, head is all intact but I need to mention section of repair, you may wish to do further restoration. Shirley" has a great little character face with stay open blue green glass eyes, painted lashes around the eyes with feathered auburn brows, she has red accent dots in the corner of her eyes and pierced nostrils. Open mouth with upper molded painted teeth, lips are accented, she has light color blush on the cheeks and a darling little dimple in each cheek as well. Dark blonde human hair wig is full of curls, a well made wig, in need of a little combing or curling iron, but a charming"Shirley Temple" wig. There is a red bow in her hair to match her dress. She has an incised line around back of head which indicates where the head would have been cut to accommodate a cardboard pate. It looks like the very angled"French" cut. The cut was never made, but there are 2 holes in the top of her head: one for the attachment of hair, the other for. I have up for auction a rare 11 1/2" tall Armand Marseille 640 character child doll. The bisque head is in good condition with no chips. Hairline cracks or repairs. She has a lovely face with a closed mouth and deep blue intaglio eyes. She is well marked on the back shoulder plate. The body is oilcloth and has some wear as shown in the photos. THE BOTTOM HALF OF THIS DRESS HAS DARKENED WITH AGE AND SHOWS SOME TYPICAL RUST LIKE SPOTS ON THE NICE PUFFED SLEEVES. HOWEVER, THIS DRESS IS REALLY STILL QUITE LOVELY, IN MY OPINION, WITH A FULL SKIRT SPRIGGED WITH WHITE FLOWERS AND A RUFFLED HEM. HER UNDERGARMENTS ARE A SILKY MATERIAL, BUT MELTING WITH AGE. SHE WEARS ANTIQUE SOCKS AND THE MOST WONDERFUL LITTLE OILCLOTH SHOES WITH DAINTY WHITE EMBELLISHMENTS. THEY ARE A FADING SHADE OF PINK AND IN GOOD CONDITION.
