Lovely Primitive Antique Bronze Dinner Bell Door Bell Wall Mount Flying Bird Top
Lovely Primitive Antique Bronze Dinner Bell Door Bell Wall Mount Flying Bird Top Once or twice a year. I take the time to drive an hour and a half to one of my favorite antique malls. It’s huge, and has an awesome variety of oldees. I think you’ll like what I have this week! I’m still listing flea market items too. There’s something for everyone! Here's a nice one! It's an antique wall mount dinner bell or door bell with a sweet flying bird mounted to the top. The bell is in excellent condition. With its original clapper and chain that has a black finish wood finial on the end- ready for you to ring! Speaking of which, the bell has a loud and resounding ring- it works great! It is suspended form a little wall mount bracket that has three decorative flowers on the underside that look like tulips to me, and the bird is on the top of ... morethe bracket. There's two screw mount holes at the back of the bracket for mounting on your wall- I do not have screws, you will need to provide your own. The piece measures 6 1/4" long in total from the back of the wall mount bracket to the front of the bell. It is 7 1/8" tall from the bottom of the bell to the top of the bird's wing, and the mouth of the bell is 3 3/4" diameter. The chain for the bell hangs down about 5- 5 1/2" from the mouth of the bell. It weighs just over 1 1l2 lbs. In photos 4&5 you can see that there is a small spot of the front right corner of the top bell bracket that has broken off- as if it were dropped on that corner. It's small, and really hard to notice. There's no other breaks to the piece. The patina is darkdarkdark. you can see small spots of paint ooop's brush marks on the side of the wall mount bracket. There's green oxidation that can be seen all over. And you can also see some faint white marks on the bird as well as the bell. I cannot tell if these are dirt,oxidation, bird plops or paint oops sprays as I have not tried to clean- but you can clearly see them in my photos. I always leave in as fo

It is in very good antique condition. With a sturdy hinge and properly fitting lid. There is some expected loss to the delicate gold trim from age, and it appears that it was once lined, as tiny remnants of wine colored silk remain in the crevices. This is a stunning 19th century antique solid bronze Victorian wall mirror candle holder sconce. It is made from thick/ solid bronze and is extremely heavy with a wonderful patina from age. it is a very high quality piece doubling as a mirror and has two arms in the front which hold two candles as well. the arms are connected to a very ornate stylized female face which is very dimensional and sits off of the mirror. the candle holders.
