I am unsure of its actual age, but it has all the exquisite carved details and characteristics ... moreof a Jacobean cabinet. It is finished in a dark stain and is most likely made of mahogany. There are a couple of places on the carved legs where there is some breakage. This does not affect the stability of the cabinet and could possibly be repaired by a professional carpenter. There are also some cracks in the carved accent details on the bottom legs of the cabinet. The cabinet has the original wooden casters on it, as well as the original poured glass. It looks like there were some additional accent pieces on each side at the little “shelf” that protrudes out at each side that are missing.
