Was made in France in early 1900 in the style of 18th century furniture. It measures about 33" tall. 15" deep and 32 1/2" wide. Legs are about 10" tall. Drawers are about 8" deep and 19" wide. Small convenient size makes this item really versatile; basically any house will have some room and use for it and this commode can be used as a center piece in a tiny apartment or just serve the purpose of a nightstand in an oversize bedroom. It is not a cheap contemporary reproduction made in Egypt. With ugly brass mounts and tasteless imitation of real marquetry work, which are offered on eBay for more than my selling price, but a fine quality authentic item.
