The cane seats have been replaced with fresh. Sturdy woven cane to look just like the original did years ago. Each chair has a double box style stretcher, which shows great craftsmanship. These chairs are solid and sturdy with years of use in them. This is a beautiful set. I do not know the maker or exact date they were made. This set is antique and may not be perfect.
