The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Small drawers offer space for accessories or make-up and it can easily fit on a night stand, chest or work top making it an very useable and versatile piece. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no major damage. There are some slight bubbles in the veneer in a couple of places. And one small chip has been filled on the middle drawer. The attachment between the mirror and the stand is slightly wobbly on the left hand side, but stable. It's an old Victorian sewing or dresser box covered in gorgeous sage green silk and dripping with gorgeous antique bridal lace. The lids is done with a rope trim and a rosette which has flattened out a bit. Looks like the top used to be pink but has since faded. Measures 10" x 10" x 3.5" tall. Inside is covered in a pretty faded pink plaid silk. It is in very good shape for it's age considering it's about 100 years old. There are a few light spots here and there but nothing horrible. The worst I saw was UNDER the lace where you don't see it. Not on the lace but under it. There ae a few tiny little holes in the silk but nothing horrible or unusual for the age.
