The overall size is 21 inches wide, 15 inches deep, 48 inches high overall and 38 inches high to the top. The pull-down lid is 17.5 inches wide by 13 inches high. This ice box has over 20 hand carved pieces on the two front doors, nice detailed lion head carvings and two large paw feet. All of these carvings were hand made by highly skill woodworkers in the 1890's. The columns on the sides are really nice oak rope carvings that are below each lion head and extends down to the top of each paw foot. Underneath the top ledge are unusual oak trim with heart style carvings on all three sides. The bevelled mirror is in great shape, no chips, scratches or hazeThis ice box is solid oak and has never been painted before. A lot of the ice boxes that you see listed were painted before and when finished, they have a washed out appearance from the paint still present in the grain of the wood. This ice box has a beautiful smooth finish and a rich color to it. You will not be disappointed one bit with this item. The escutcheons feature a roaring lion’s head. The bureau has a solid. Grained oak top and double-paneled sides. The front skirt displays a lovely scalloped curve. The bureau rear is double-paneled. Description Large Victorian Heavily Carved Gothic Revival Dresser. One of the most fantastic dressers it's ever been my pleasure to own. C arving to most surfaces including the edge of th e plank oak lower se ction top. The oak has aged wonderfully with wear through in many places to the natural wood colour. The patination is great and tells the tale of it's hi story beautifully. The dresser itself is constructed in a quality rustic method. The upper section planks are pushed thro ugh and pegged. The lower section is made of oak throughout and is a str uggle for 2 people to carry. It's THAT heavy! The whole lower unit is peg construction. That's the highest quality cabinet construction method. Even now. The handles are G eorgian style batwing one s. They could well be G eorgian ones from an early cabinet. The centre section ... morehas four drawer fronts on it. The upper two are a drop down drinks cabinet/bureau, the lower two are a pull out nine bottle wine cell ar. One ha ndle here do es have it's swinging section missing. This is on one of them tha t isn't used luckily. You don't notice it unless you look for it! T he cupboards at each side are large and have a drawer above with complimentary carving to their edges. There is a nod to the arts and crafts movement on the up per section. Very ornate carved wishbone mirror, fancy carved key escutcheons on the drawer fronts and the original wood pulls on the drawers with dove-tailed joinery on the drawer ends. This fine 19th century dresser measures 77 inches in height to the top of the carved crest on the mirror. Height to the marble at the front measures 33 3/4 inches, width measures 40 inches and depth front to back is 19 1/4 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 150 lbs. The actual mirror portion measures 24 inches high by 12 3/4 inches wide. This dresser does dis-assemble into 4 separate pieces for easier handling during shipping ... moreand moving. This dresser is solid and tight and the mirror portion rests sturdy and straight. The framed mirror does pivot front to back to adjust viewing. Antique Tiger Oak Victorian Era c.1880 Round Shaving Mirror- On Tilting Frame- DESCRIPTION A handsome antique shaving mirror on tilting stand. Made entirely of solid tiger oak grained wood. The mirror frame, tilting arms, base and round ball feet all with beautiful graining visable. This one is from the late Victorian era circa 1880's. It's in original untouched condition, not refinished. It also retains the original mirror glass and backing for the round mirror. The round mirror frame is 1" wide and has a deep beveled edge. The two arms have knobs at the sides that can be loosened allowing you to tilt the framed mirror portion. Tightening the knob will then hold it in that fixed position. The arms have lovely turnings and are mortised through the wide shaped chamferred edge base. The base has four round ball feet. We've ... moreleft this as found. We have not polished or refinished the wood it is completly original. Shows good wear, but no splits or cracks or breaks in the wood. And we have not removed the original mirror glass from the frame. As expected with mirror glass of this age, it does show wear to the silvering. Of course, if you like, you could replace the mirror with contemporary mirror glass. We like it just the way it is. Showing it's good age. Size: 12-1/4" high overall- 15-3/4" long and 5-1/2" wide at the base- mirror frame measures 9-3/4" across CONDITION Very Good. The wood has not been refinished. This very unusual item is a custom-made tiger sawn oak extremely rare five-drawer. Double hatbox lock-side dresser that probably dates from ... morethe 1890s. It came out of the home of a dear friend of mine who died about 15 years ago. And who had a great collection in his home. He bought this chest a long time ago, and would never sell it. This piece will remind you of a Harvard dental cabinet, the way it’s made on the side panels. I could spend probably 30 minutes describing it, but the pictures will do it more justice. When you open the two serpentine paneled beaded molding doors on top, it reveals a shelved compartment, and below that are five serpentine front drawers with beautiful heavy cast-brass hardware that is all intact. You’ll notice there are no keyholes on any of the drawers. This is because when the doors are opened, there is a hidden panel on which you push a lever and it locks all the drawers. They are unlocked the same way. The chest has many fine details, including a wonderful detailed backsplash that could probably be sold by itself for $300. It has seven raised panels on each side, a French braided spade foot, clamshell carving on the base, cutout fretwork on the skirt, a beaded molded edge with a few pieces of beading missing, and is in overall really excellent original condition

This is an Antique Late 1800's Victorian Natural Tone Oak Dresser with Original Brass Drawer Pulls and Key Locks/ Hardware. 44.5 inches wide x 33 inches tall x 19.5 inches deep. Has 4 dovetail drawers and metal caster wheels. Key to the locks is unavailable. The lower drawer bottom has been replaced. All drawers are opening and closing properly. Item is structurally sound for it's age. Caster wheels are all rolling. Top back right corner has a slight warp on the tabletop with separation and a small crack. Shouldn't be a problem for most. It's not noticeable when standing against a wall. Item was lightly sanded and clear varnished in the mid 1970's. Small top drawers are 18 inches wide x 5.5" tall. Victorian Golden Oak Bow Front 2 Over 2 Dresser With Carved Mirror
Beautiful Golden Oak Victorian Dresser with mirror. It's 40" wide. 20" deep and about 67" high with mirror. Very nice condition. There are 2 small dark spots on the top which can be seen in photo slightly. Dove tailed construction on the drawers and hand carving on the oval mirror. On the sides of one of the bottom drawers the dove tailing is slightly warped from age and split slightly but the drawer opens and closes smoothly with no effort and is solid. If anything the color is slightly more golden than in the photos. And it is on castors. Mirror is removed easily. This is pick up only. Thanks.

This washstand has been in use by our family for over 100 years. It was the only piece of furniture to make it out of my great-grandparent's house when it burned in 1940. The best part about this piece is that it is has not been refinished or altered since it was manufactured. The photo speaks for itself. This piece is massize measuring approximately 94" tall and 53.5" wide. Good luck finding another of this quality and size. Aside from a few minor flaws to the top and dulling of the finish, I can't fault this piece. Considering the age, I would give this a 8 or 9 out of 10. Antique Victorian Dresser & Mirror w/ Hidden Drawer Walnut & Oak 1800s
Offered for sale is this 19th Century Victorian dresser and Mirror combo made from Oak. Walnut and Poplar. To the best of my knowledge it has not been refinished. The number"81" is stamped into the back of the mirror in two different places. I can find no other markings. Hidden drawer has at one time had the bottom replaced with newer thin plywood. It is only visible when pulled out and upside down. Dimensions are Width-39 Depth-20 Height-73* When unlatched. The mirror tilts forward and backward. Drawers all operate smoothly.
