The celluloid cover book has ... morean image of The Vatican. The cover does have some blemishes but for the most part is in good display condition. Colors are not too faded. And it is not too dirty and worn. Back side looks to be a red velvet or felt material. The ornate latch is present but does not work. The bindings are a little loose but still intact. This piece originally had cabinet card photos in it when I found it, and I have been selling off the cards separately. The picture holes roughly fit 6"X4" maybe 7"X5" cards. Pages inside are a little dirty in places and have some smaller tears here and there. Overall great piece to use with your photos or to display. YOU WON'T FIND ANOTHER! The other book looks to have a metal soldier on the front. Possibly a Civil War soldier. The front and back are a soft cloth material. Bindings are a little loose but still functional. A few dirty spots on the outside and inside. Some of the pages have rips or tears. This book can house different sizes of photos within the pages. The latch on the side does not work. I designed this ... morestained glass hanging"purse" in the style of those beautiful Victorian vintage beaded handbags. Designed after one I saw at the last antique show. The glass I cut for the body is a gorgeous magenta and blue iridescent. Notice in the pictures how it can change color to purple and teal as the light hits it at different angles. The"frame" is made with a jet black glass and a little silver"doodad" for the clasp. The upper portion of the bag is cut from iridescent gray which changes to silver and bronze. The 3 flowers are cut from a white iridescent glass, which changes to pink and pale green in the light. I've added a 3" beaded fringe of bronze, blue, purple and clear glass beads. And finished it off with 1/2" antique black jet beaded trim repurposed from a vintage dress. It hangs from a black chain, just like a purse. The glass itself is about 6"x 6" and overall when hanging it's about 12" long. It's done in the Tiffany copper foil method, with and antique copper patina on the solder joints, and finished with wax to a bright polish. Just for clarification, this is not a functional purse. This is a one-of-a-kind hanging gift for collectors of vintage purses. perhaps a birthday or Mothers Day present! The last pictures shows some of my other stained glass purse creations. The fabric has been replaced along the way with an antique beige that is all buttoned and pleated. It must have been done in the last 10 years or so as it is in lovely condition. The sofa is all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 68 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 48 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 28 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, 23 inches high to the arms and 16 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking sofa with a great patina on the wood frame.

This dresser has two top drawers and two lower drawers in the base. Plus two small drawers atop the base. It has a center mirror and two side, arched mirrors making it quite distinctive. The mirrors are beveled and show signs of aging. The veneer has wear, which is age appropriate. The hardware all appears to be original. The four legs have castors, which also appear to be original. This has been in my family for many years. A Victorian era(1880) three drawer chest. We moved it here when we relocated from England a few years ago and now is the time to let it go. We believe it to be oak, but it's clearly the same wood throughout, marked with a capital FP(Frederick Pierce) on the reverse. It has all original handles and a simple carved topstop at the rear.
