Antique Marble Top Dresser Chest Beveled Mirror Oak
Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers. for sale a very nice antique quartersawn oak dresser with original beveled mirror and hardware. dresser is serpentine in the front which is a very desirable and somewhat rare feature. it has a great carved harp for the mirror which hopefully the pictures will show. it has abundant quartersawn flake on the top and all the drawers and dividers. the finish is overall in very good condition. for sale is a very nice serpentine quartersawn oak dresser with an intricate cut beveled mirror housed within its frame. to cut that mirror today with the bevel would cost a minimum of 800.00. at any rate this is a wonderful solid dresser with no issues to report other than the mirror is a bit smokey and has lost a wee bit of silver. it has great carving with much detail. the top is solid quartersawn oak of the highest quality. hardware is all original. the casters are new. the top is serpentine as well as the front. it is 50 inches wide at it widest point. 24 inches deep at the widest point. it is 82 inches tall being 36.5 inches to the top surface of the dresser. it has a claw type foot. i managed to dig this out of an upstairs bedroom set. i have included a few pictures of the bed. It has the original finish, which I believe is flame burled walnut, with a beautiful wood grain and patina. The end pieces on the base and the mirror supports are carved. The drawers have dovetail joints. Keyholes and the original glass pulls(keys are not included) I purchased this dresser in Atlanta 25 years ago. I was told it was a Civil War era piece dating to the 1860s. Although I have no way of verifying that. The drawers are very large and roomy. This is typical of pieces made at that time. As clothes were stored flat in drawers. This is a large. Solid piece measuring 54 in wide x 26 in deep x 35 in high. The mirror with frame measures approx. 46 in across x ... more37 in high. Overall. This piece is in good condition, but it is old and does have some imperfections. The top surface is very blotchy from what were probably water stains. Antique 1800's Serpentine Dresser Family Heirloom w/ Beveled Mirror OHIO PICK UP
This dresser is a 1800's Serpentine Dresser and was my husband’s Great Grandmother’s. His Great Grandma died in 1978 at 99 years old. As far as he knows its was originally bought by her family and has been passed down from generation to generation. The mirror has a beveled edge and is in good condition. No cracks. We do not know what kind of wood this is. In the light it looks like oak. And in other light it appears darker. You be the judge. All the drawer pulls are attached and believed to be original. There are pictures of the edge of the drawers to show how they were put together with a tooth pattern. There are rolling casters on the bottom of the legs. Also believed to be original. We had the screws that held on the mirror to the back of the dresser but having took them off for storage, they have been misplaced. Of course if they ... moreare found, they will be included. 1800s Antique Beveled Wall Mirror
This antique mirror was purchased over thirty five years ago in an Iowa farm auction. I believe the wood is oak. At the time it was painted over in white but removed once we knew how beautiful it was underneath. It's mirror is beveled, and shows the sign of age, bringing out the charm. It measures 30 1/2" tall and 22 1/4" wide.

Oak Eastlake Spoon Carved Dresser with beveled mirror
For your consideration is this beautiful oak Eastlake style dresser. With intricate spoon carving throughout. It's three drawers have the original pressed brass handles. Overall condition is good, although it is an antique and so the occasional scratch or ding should be expected. The grain on this piece is incredibly tight and bespeaks true old growth lumber construction. The drawers are dove-tailed, although it should be noted that the middle drawer has had the sides and bottom replaced. Please note that the streaks in the beveled mirror are the result of my failed Windex job, not an imperfection in the mirror. The mirror itself is near perfect, with only small spots of very faint clouding in the upper corners(I had actually never noticed them until careful inspection in preparation for selling) Dimensions are as follows: 17.5 inches ... moredeep. 41 inches wide, base is 31.5 inches tall, mirror adds an additional 40 inches(overall height 6ft. This was one of my first antique purchases. And we have since moved towards a walnut Renaissance Revival style, so it was time to find this piece a home where it won't be such a misfit. I believe the wood is walnut. The wood on the drawers is a burled pattern. Please note the detail in the Ormalu crown and drawer pulls. An extremely heaving rectangular piece of coral marble is inset in the top. The oval mirror is beveled and is in excellent condition. There are matching two nightstands. It is in overall excellent condition although it does have a few nicks and scratches. The drawers measure 40 in. wide. 17 in. deep and 30 in. tall. The mirror adds another 40 in. to the overall height. If my description is in any way lacking. Please do not hesitate to send me a message and ask. Local pick-up is preferred although I make weekly trips to Grand Rapids and could deliver if it isn’t too far out of my way. If it is. The shaped mirror on a scroll-carved plinth above three long drawers of arc en arbalete form on short foliate-carved cabriole legs. A revival of a mid-18th century type; the mirror plate design is of 1930's/40's styles. It is a mixture of styles. Typical of early 20th century production. Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique heavy carved French walnut dressing table with chest of drawers. Five beveled mirrors including two side dressing mirrors which are adjustable, beautiful heavy carved finials above the three larger mirrors which clearly distinguish it as French and mirror back candle stands 16 1/2 inches above the lovely top surface on the dresser. The drawers on this lovely dressing table are dovetailed and have gorgeous burl walnut veneer decorative fronts and fabulous original metal drawer pulls. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition and construction as well as the overall beauty and desirability of this absolutely delightful late 19th to early 20th century dressing table. This terrific dressing table stands 74 3/4 inches tall to the top the ... morethe carved finial on the central large mirror and measures 42 inches wide and 18 inches deep front to back at the widest points of the dresser. there are a total of five drawers including a small drawer just below the large mirror above the dresser top surface. Below are two top drawers. Each 16 1/2 inches wide by 15 1/4 inches front to back by 4 inches deep. Below these two top side by side drawers are two large drawers, each 35 inches wide by 15 1/2 inches front to back and 6 and 6 1/2 inches deep respectively, in descending order. The large center mirror with the carved frame around it is 39 3/4 inches tall by 18 1/2 inches wide with the beveled mirror within measuring 27 3/4 inches by 15 1/2 inches at it's widest points. Hand painted on front and top of cabinet and on crest of mirror. Beveled mirror in solid mahogany frame on back splash. Hand relief carved head on each front corner.
