Very Nice Antique Tiger Oak Dresser With Beveled Mirror For sale a beautiful antique oak dresser with beveled mirror and two smaller top drawers and two large drawers below. Solid oak top. Legs, mirror frame and drawer faces. Solid wood drawer interiors. I believe the pattern of the oak is what is called Tiger Oak because of the stripes. The drawers are able to lock with a key– NO Keys included. The mirror and frame detaches from the dresser for hauling if desired. Condition: Dresser In Good + Condition. Looks nice. The mirror has some normal small spotting from age but is all-in-all very nice. The inside of the dresser looks solid. There are some. What looks like, varnish runs on the top of the inside of the dresser and some gluing runs. Not sure of their origin. The dresser side panels appear to be oak plywood as would be normal. All the ... moreedges, front facings, dresser top and mirror are solid oak. The beveled mirror is backed with what looks like masonite. There are some metal pieces in the center that must have something to do with the drawers as a stop? These are all in fine condition but have caused some problems on the bottom of the large drawers. All the drawers are solid. The bottoms of the drawers are'one' solid piece of wood. The large drawer bottoms have warped over time most likely because of being from one solid piece of wood. One has a crack. One drawer is worse than the other but both are warped as seen in the pics. This has caused the metal pieces to wear grooves into the bottom of the large drawers. Whether these can be reshaped or not I don't know(It should be an easy replacement if so desired) They work fine but are grooved. Beautiful antique oak Victorian commode or dresser with a top serpentine drawers and spacious cabinet space below. Overhanging molded top with a decorative carved backsplash. The back and sides of this piece are paneled and there are elegant brass pulls on the drawer and cabinet doors. Two cabriole shaped feet in the front and straight feet in the back end at simple casters. This classic piece most likely dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It has been painted with chalk paint in black over cream. I have covered the drawers and side panels in vintage sheet music from a 1910 Hymnal book. All of the french lettering on the drawers are completely hand painted and lightly sanded. I don't use stencils. It has been sanded and glazed with a coat of wax to complete her transformation. ANTIQUE MINIATURE OAK DOLL DRESSER CHEST OF DRAWERS SALESMAN SAMPLE SCROLL FRONT Beautiful miniature oak 3 drawer dresser. Most likely for a doll house but could be a salesman sample based on the quality scroll work on the drawer faces. This piece was all hand made and put together with nails. Each drawer has wonderful flowing design of acanthus leaves pressed into the face. Each drawer also has great wooden pulls. Based on the 2 holes in the back of the top this most likely had a mirror. Condition wise the is in very good shape for it's age. The drawers all ... moreslide open smooothly and fit nicely into the case. As mentioned there are two holes in the top that held a mirror which unfortunately I do not have. These could easily be filled with oak plugs or covered with a nice runner. The left side does have what appears to be a piece that started to tear out of the wood right along the grain. I think this was a flaw in the wood as the piece is only separated down about 1/2" and is solid below that and tight against the side. The nail at the bottom is not holding it on. That nail is holding the side to the rail. The top drawer bottom does have a piece that has separated but has been glued back on and is tight. The bottom drawer has piece that came off the side but this can easily be glued back on. This does have a few old worm holes in the middle drawer front and the back but no evidence any recent activity. Please see my photos for clarity and ask questions if you have any other concerns. For sale is a beautiful. Large dresser made with quality quarter-sawn oak veneer with large swing mirror on top. The unnamed manufacture's marks on back indicate it was made"6-3-24" and that it's style"828" It has four drawers on top, two of which are felt-lined for jewelry and two lower large drawers. It is 44.5" wide, 22" deep, 34.5" high; It is 69.5" high overall. The mirror is 34" x 29" The mirror has excellent silvering for its age. Very RARE Beautiful Antique Furniture Dresser Wash Stand Dry Sink Cupboard with Beveled Tilting Mirror This dresser is a well made. High quality piece of furniture. It is at least 100+ years old. Very unique. Overall it is about 46" tall and 17" deep. The lower side is 22 1/2" to the surface + 51" to the top of the mirror. The higher side is 44" to the surface + 21" to the top of the mirror. Antique dresser oak, refinished with original brass keyholes early 1900s
We are selling this beautiful antique oak dresser. It was found in our family's farm house. Which was built in 1890. Unfortunately, some of the wood wasn't in the best shape. However, we were able to refinish it and bring out the beauty of this gorgeous piece. The dresser would look great in a guest or kid's bedroom. We considered using it in our bathroom for extra storage. But it was just a little too wide to fit. It would also make a great entry piece, where it could hold hats, gloves, etc. The condition is quite good given its age. There are no major chips. Cracks, or breaks. The drawers all function, but a couple are just a little sticky. It has great age and petina to add just the right amount of character! Thank you for your interest.
