The metal hooks(shown pictured in the drawer) are to hold the mattress. All the drawers have dove tails. All drawers move freely. The tall dresser has 3 drawers. The top drawer is decorative. I believe all the hardware is original. It is matching and in great condition. Babys Room: The vanity could be used as a changing table if you take the mirror off. It is the perfect height and more sturdy than $100+ tables in the stores. It also has 4 deep drawers for supplies. This could be the set to grow with your child. 60 year old Child's Solid Cherry Wood Dresser with Mirror Bench made
Offered for sale is a circa 1940-1950 bench made childs toy dresser or doll dresser. Nice diminutive size. Made of solid cherry wood. With an interior of pine. You can see the bottoms of the drawers have been chamfered, just like an original from the 1800s. An old piece of glass was added to the mirror. Which is a nice look. She always had"modern" taste back then. No idea who the manufacturer was but back of the dresser reads"WMB 8862 8864 T. DR. and then"90 Blue Mink" Pieces are heavy and seem to be made of oak. The grain is visible with a shiny black stain on it. Which sort of gives it a blackish, blue color. The handles are gold metal, but not sure what kind. There is a routing line around several drawers that are filled in with a gold finish. It has been used so there are some nicks here and there, but she was pretty careful with her things because at that time they needed to last a life time. There is s faint line around the top where she must have ... morehad some sort of cover over it to protect the top. Both pieces are slightly more narrow at the top and then get wider at the bottom-pretty neat with interesting lines, modern lines. Legs are attached at an angle. Drawers are dovetailed and made of what I think is oak. Description: Chest-45" tall; 20" deep; 40" long with 5 drawers- Note on the back there is a surface nick on one leg. But does not impact the piece. Dresser-32" tall; 60" long; 21" deep with 3 sets of 3 drawers(the 3 large ones are in the center) Mirror attaches to the top with screws in the back. Measures 18 3/8" across the top and is 19 3/4" tall. Two nice bow front drawers that have handcut dovetails on front and back and hand turned posts border the mirror. Circa 1840 to 1860 which has yielded rich creamy patination. Antique Baumritter (pre-Ethan Allen) 6 Drawer Solid Maple Wood Dresser
I am pleased to offer this antique authentic Baumritter 6 drawer dresser. Circa 1952. And manufactured Beecher Falls, Vermont, U.S.A. it actually pre-dates Ethan Allen. This dresser is the real deal. 100% original. All solid Maple construction in a nutmeg finish with all of the original hardware. It measures 46" tall X 33 5/8" wide X 18 1/2" deep. It features beveled/rounded edging on both the top and each drawer face. This dresser was built by Baumritter New York just prior to being acquired by Ethan Allen. Of note in the styling is the elevated stance with scalloped lower/base edging. Once acquired by Ethan Allen, the CRP line continued through the 1950's with similar construction; but the pieces were produced with a flat base that sat flush upon the floor. The craftsmanship and quality of materials used on these pieces ... morewas exceptional. All 4 corners of each drawer are dovetailed. Each drawer slides using a central guide bar and groove; all of which is precise Maple wood construction. The top 2 drawers are also sectioned. Those drawers have a face width of 4 1/2" and a usable depth of 3 1/2" The lower 4 drawers are not sectioned. Each of those 4 have a usable depth of 5" This piece is absolutely authentic. The original brass Baumritter New York plaquard with company crest is still affixed to the side wall of the second drawer. In same drawer. On the floor, is literally heat branded"Made in Vermont" over"Beecher Falls" within a Maple leaf(to represent the wood and its' regional origin) Look closely at the photos and you can see the blackened/burnished patina from the heat used in branding. Furthermore. On the backside of this piece is twice stamped, Inspected" over"April 28,1952" over"Inspector No. 1" Apparently they did it twice as the first stamp was not wholly clear. Appears to be in original condition and does have scratches and signs of use. In good overall structural condition for its age. Measures 16" deep. 40"wide and 66"tall. Since this is a larger item it is for local pickup only unless you want to arrange for pickup and shipping. The owner has room to store this for a short while to give you time to pick up. I am selling this miniature dresser for a friend. His Uncle made it in the 1950's.Made of solid wood it is very heavy, beautifully made.The dresser measures 19 inches high and approx. 13 inches long,4 1/2 inches wide.The only nails to be seen are the small ones that have attached the back to the dresser.Two shelves on the top and the base has 2 drawers and 2 cupboards.The drawers and cupboards have lovely hinges and handles.No damage at all, please look at the enlarged photo's to see how good this was made.I am not certain and neither is my friend(Derek) but this may have been an apprentice piece.The workmanship is really outstanding.I do not know what the wood is.Postage will be expensive because it is so heavy but collection/meeting could be arranged.Please ask prior to my sending an invoice because of distance.I will help as much ... moreas I can or rather my husband as I do not drive.Thankyou.

Some of the dovetail corners were glued and set with masking tape(old repair holding fine) Mirror frame has a small crack in the back that doesn't show from the front. Should be an easy repair. Siverback mirror was very blotchy and replaced with a new mirror. Dresser sides are constructed with wood panels and have some general wear. Finish is still smooth. This piece is Art Deco style and is from the 1930’s era. The drawer fronts have been beautifully spoon carved. There is a dark spot on the left side of the mirror as well as some freckles. This is normal for a mirror this age. There are some nicks and scuffs on the dresser top but the finish is smooth to the touch. There ... moreare 3 large drawers that have dovetail craftsmanship and metal pulls. The trim flanking the drawers is ribbed. The dresser has paneled sides and back and is nice and sturdy. This dresser is in overall great condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This dresser with mirror measures 64 5/8 inches tall. 37 7/8 inches side to side and 16½ inches front to back. It weighs 87 pounds.
