The credenza has a slight serpentine shape, and paneled doors on each end with an attractive curving style. The crendenza has five (5) drawers, one of which has dividers built-in for flatware, and two (2) doors, that each open into large storage compartments with plenty of space and adjustable shelves in each. The crendenza has short curved legs. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the front of the piece, and these areas can be seen in the photos. There are some stains inside the drawers, which have dovetail joints. I am unsure of its age or manufacture of the piece.

You are bidding on a Vintage Serpentine 5 Drawer Dresser. This is an absolutely beautiful dresser. It measures approximately 47" high by 35" wide and 20" deep. The veneer on the top left rear corner has a very small area that is raised. The decor of the front left leg is missing and one of the handles of the bottom drawer is also missing. Antique Vintage Vtg. Dresser Bureau Vanity Beveled Mirror Serpentine Tiger Oak ~
Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser Up for your consideration: A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely Beveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed ... morein a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beveled Mirror attached well and swivels up or down. The Drawers feature the Grand Serpentine style. The drawers all lock and of course the original skeleton key is included. I am not sure however if the dresser’s knobs are original or not. The Dresser features the rare and beautiful Tiger Oak Construction. Quarter Sawn) The drawers are all in pretty fine condition. One drawer seems to want to go in further than it should but could be easily remedied. There is also a chip in the front edge of one of the left drawers. It's called a"hall tree" but we've felt that it's more appropriate to call it a bureau. We use it as a dresser. To complement the Serpentine. Very romantic piece, truly a focal point. Aged to perfection, looks like something out of an old Dracula movie. There are no unusual marrs or dings in the wood, just the usual"wear and tear" of an antique. Mirror CAN be re-silvered, but we think the spotting here and there adds to the antique charm. The piece has two drawers, and is 76 inches tall at the tallest point. It is 49" wide and 22" deep. The corners are canted and fluted and the brass hardware is a really nice Chippendale style bain pull. The wood used on this antique chest of drawers is a lovely burl walnut. The frame appears to be a straight grain walnut. This burl has a tremendous amount of variation in it. Making it particularly pleasing to the eye. This antique dresser is in excellent condition. The finish is superb and there are no repairs. The drawers all open and close easily. They are also put together with hand cut dovetailed joints. A sign of quality craftsmanship. A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. Beautiful antique oak Victorian commode or dresser with a top serpentine drawers and spacious cabinet space below. Overhanging molded top with a decorative carved backsplash. The back and sides of this piece are paneled and there are elegant brass pulls on the drawer and cabinet doors. Two cabriole shaped feet in the front and straight feet in the back end at simple casters. This classic piece most likely dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. This beautiful. Vintage, Ammerican-made, solid wood, bow front dresser would make a wonderful addition to any bedroom suite. Hand crafted from solid wood, mostly likely oak, this dresser is of quality construction, with dovetail joints and has a beautiful finish. Mounted-on castors make it easy to move this piece at will. It comes with the original, beautifully aged, oval mirror, however, the frame and support for the mirror is broken and/or missing parts. They were supposed to all be in a drawer in the dresser when purchased at Estate Sale in March, however, the mounting pieces were not included and the mirror frame is in multiple pieces and not entirely there. Beautiful serpentine Leather top & gilded commode
This lovely commode measures 29" wide by 17" deep by 30" high and has 4 roomy drawers. It is a very comfortable size to fit in many limited areas and still hold a lot of storage. It can be used against a wall or along side seating or bed. It has a beautiful patina bought on naturally by its age and French polishing over the years. The signs of wear and use are commensurate with its age and utility and an asset. As it gives the piece the character that is wanted in Traditional furniture. The leather is is excellent shape. No tears, scratches. The gold gilding is also in great shape. The photo light does not show the excellent quality of the gilding throughout the entire the top. Here is a fabulous small serpentine chest of drawers measuring 6 1/2" h x 10" w x 5" d finely made in what I believe is walnut(but I cannot guarantee that) take a look at photos. Maybe you can tell what kind of wood it is. Please note: although miniature in size, this is not for a miniature dollhouse but rather a larger"doll sized" piece) This is a wonderful piece of folk art done by someone proud of this piece enough to sign it(illegible to me) and date it 1971. The drawers are lined with vintage brown and tan patterned paper and the drawers have proportionally appropriate handles. The brass hardware is original and in very good condition. There are locks on all of the drawers, but no key. The beveled mirror is original to the dresser.
