This is a very lovely piece! Even the mirror is in good condition. Dates to the 30's or 40's. It is 6 ft from floor to top of mirror and about 36 3/4" from floor to top of vanity table. Table is about 49 1/2" long. The mirror is about 41" tall and 24" wide. Vanity is about 19" wide(front to back) Drawers are about 14" wide and top drawers are about 3" deep. Middle are about 5" deep, and bottom are about 6" deep. Left top drawer is divided as is center drawer. Please refer to photos. Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding. Has Queen Anne legs, nicely reproduced brass pulls with pierced back plates, three removable top finials, mahogany veneered drawer fronts with all solid mahogany case and inner drawers also. It is in a very deep mahogany stain with the classic top and has the brass medallion in the top drawer, Johnson Furniture Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is 74 inches high, 19 inches deep, 34 inches wide and is in very good condition with no breaks or repairs and only a satin effect in the finish due to the age and changes in temperature in which I find attractive to the piece. I am downsizing. This is a gorgeous Vintage Serpentine Mahogany 8 Drawer Dresser. It comes with a custom protective glass top. The dresser is made of solid wood and high gloss Mahogany Veneer. It has the original drawer hardware. However. Some of the handles are more tarnished than others, the bottom two handles are corroded. The dresser is in excellent overall used condition but does have some very minor wear. Scratches, scuffs, and other imperfections. The top of the dresser was refinished a number of years ago, the other parts of the dresser appear to be original. Tiger Mahogany" an endangered species.saved! This is a gorgeous customized classic antique chest of 4 drawers. I restore fine antiques and make customized furniture. This beautiful chest I found as a diamond in the rough needing TLC.I fell in love with the"tiger mahogany" drawer fronts and all of the trim details. I restored this piece from top to bottom. Including custom made drawer slides/runners. Complete drawer rebuilding including gluing and clamping. The veneer was repaired as need on the drawer fronts.I added custom trim to the drawer fronts. Like a picture frame adding great detail and beauty. The hand carved Celtic circle was a custom addition. New polished nickel hardware. Notice the fluted ball feet and the original scroll trim on the lower front skirt of the dresser. The upper drawer middle trim"grille" ... morepanel is awesome as well as the trim just below the drawer. The front corner posts of the dresser are fluted.As you can easily see this dresser has many wonderful details. The drawer fronts are rare featuring exotic"tiger/curly" mahogany. This is a gorgeous mahogany dresser.I'm not sure of it's age.But it's a high quality REPRODUCTION of 19th century furniture with all the details and craftsmanship.It's made of mahogany inside and out.The seven drawers have dovetail joints and four have a lock.I don't have the key but I'm sure you can have one made. Oddly enough.It has two different name brand tags in the small top drawers.One is KAPLAN of Cambridge,MA the other says the BON MARCHE' Lowell,MA It's needs some work but overall in very good condition. Antique Vintage Serpentine Mahogany 12 Drawer Dresser Mirror Bow Front Buffet
Hi this is a great matching mahogany 12 drawer serpentine dresser and mirror in very good used condition. The mirror is a wall mounted mirror and does not attach to the dresser. I am willing to sell the mirror separately for the right price. The dresser is wonderful with a platform base and symmetrical sides with very cool curves. The dresser measures 60 1/4" long 20" deep and 33 1/2" tall. The top is 1 3/8" thick. The side drawers are 19" wide internally and graduated heights. The top is 3" then they get taller by an inch as you go down 4" 5" and 6" on the bottom. The mirror has no chips cracks or breaks and the silver is good and even throughout and it measures approximately 52" by 33 3/4" I am selling this for a friend who has had this in the family a long time and never mounted the ... moremirror over the dresser. The stain on the mirror is a bit darker than the dresser as I believe it was not used and in storage most of the time. AMERICAN HIGHBOY Vintage c.1930 BONNET TOP Chest of Drawers MAHOGANY Tallboy
A gorgeous American Highboy with removable Bonnet Top dating to circa 1930. We are pleased to present this exceptional American Highboy for your consideration. Loaded with quality touches. The Highboy dates to circa 1930, and is made from Mahogany, with Curly Maple used as a secondary wood in the interior. The Bonnet Top is easily removable if you prefer a cleaner look(see picture 6 for a view with the Top removed) Drawers feature dovetails both at the front and back, and each Drawer has a separator board, so it fits into its own compartment(another sign of the quality construction) Cabriolet legs with Claw and Ball feet support the unit. A compartment at bottom center has its original fabric liner and looks like it was designed to hold a hat. The Highboy measures 62-1/2 inches high. Exclusive of the Bonnet which has two dowels which hold ... moreit in place(add 11-1/2 inches for the height of the seated Bonnet) The width is 40 inches with depth 23 inches, measured at the widest point which is at the feet. The unit is not too difficult for two people to move, if the drawers are removed first. We estimate the total weight at around 175 pounds(with drawers in place) Locks are mounted in several Drawers. But no key came with the unit. We may be able to find a key that fits, so please inquire as to availability if you need one. Wear on the Highboy is quite minimal for its age. The finish would benefit from a light application of Orange Oil to remove dust. But is quite nice as-is. There are no areas of damage, mold, or other issues, and we rate the overall condition as very good to excellent. All pictures show the actual piece you will receive. Vintage 1940's Chippendale Style Mahogany Painted Black Mirror
Beautiful vintage mahogany mirror. It's from the 1940's to the best of my knowledge. I acquired this mirror at an antique store 20 years ago. It measures 34" tall at its highest point and 22" wide. It's in excellent vintage condition. The mirror is a flat mirror. Not beveled. It has a strong wire for easy hanging. I personally painted it a glossy black, giving it an updated look.
