I do not know the maker or exact date this vanity was made. I believe it is from the Art Nouveau era which makes it about 100 years old. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. Antique Dark Walnut Wood & Venier Ornate 4 Drawer Dresser VERY NICE!!
Here you will be bidding on an"Antique Dark Walnut Wood& Venier Dresser" This is a pretty nice looking piece that has 4 drawers one smaller with a ornate design on its top. The bottom also has an ornate design in its middle. The hardware is all intact and the drawers function properly. It has a two tone wood color effect on it and it is on wheels. There is a small gouge on the left side rear as seen in last picture. Nothing noticeable as its at the back side. Spindle legs on wheels this item is in overall very good condition and quite sturdy. Walnut Vanity with Triple Mirrors - CIRCA 1930 - Dark Wood Tone - NO RESERVE
This is a beautiful vanity. But it does need work done on the center mirror. I tried to take picture but the camera would not pick it up. There is damage to the center mirror where the silver has peeled off. This is the original mirror and all three mirrors are beveled. There are also 4 wheels missing from the dresser and a small chip out of the bottom trim. Vanity measures 48"W x 69 1/2"H(at mirror) and 16 1/4"D. Considering the age of this vanity it is a testament to well made furniture. I am sure that we have today will never make to the antique stage! These pieces are part of a whole bedroom set but being offered also as individual pieces. Made of walnut burl wood which was the most decorative veneer used in the period and much sought after and considered a"prized possession" It also features a masterful intricate marquetry design. ... moreAdditionally it shows carved details. Overall largest measurements are approximately: Dresser: 61" wide by 20" deep by 36" high- the center part is 28" wide by 30-1/2" high. Either drawer's side is 16-1/2" wide by 36" high, all 20" deep. Stoo l bench: 30" wide by 26" high(to the seat's top itself is about 19" and is about 16" deep. It has been recently re-upholstered The frame is 26" wide x 48" high and finely carved. The glass is in excellent condition. The style is French Rococo in the fashion of the 18th century French royal court and Louis XV and it dates around 1915. The top drawers are compartmentalized and lined with protective covers. Excellent condition with top protective thick crystal glass(right side is missing the glass. Broken in the last move) In a scale of 1 to 10 and considering its age I would say it is a 9.50 to 9.75. Yup, almost perfect! An authentic magnificent piece of the highest quality there is.
