The mirror glass is clear. It has minor scuffs from us moving and age. The bed rails have marks on the finish and have a split on one. The set has castors on each piece. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. This bedroom was set was purchased at an antique store in Eureka. California for $3,500 about 8 years ago. Made by Morris Furniture Manufacturing Company, Los Angeles. It includes: Nightstand. 16 in wide x 13 in deep x 27 in tall- Vanity. 48.5 in wide x 18.5 in deep x 30 in tall without mirror, or 65 in tall with mirror attached- Stool with original upholstery underneath a layer of modern fabrics. 22 in wide x 12 in deep x 17.5 in tall- Dresser with five drawers. 32 in wide x 19.5 in deep x 49 in tall The set will require some polish. There are only two pieces of the original glass left(on the sides of the vanity) and the hardware is not original. There are some watermarks on the top of the nightstand. All in all the set is in good shape and is very lovely. The construction is fantastic.

ANTIQUE VANITY SET BAKELITE DRESSER HAND MIRROR VINTAGE LOOKING GLASS
This is a very old vanity or dresser set in great condition. The items appear to be bakelite but I am going by what I was told when I purchased the lot at an estate sale. The pictures show the pieces to have a design or it might be stains that bleed throughout the backs with metal tear drops in the center. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. I only used water to clean these because I did not want to jeapordize damaging the set with any chemicals. The measurements are as follows. Mirror: 10 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide. Brush: 8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches wide. File: 6 3/4 inches long X 1 inch wide. Container or Storage Box: 7 inches long X 2 inches wide x 1 inch deep. This is a lovely Birdseye Maple Vanity/Dresser with oval mirror circa 1950's. It is a very lovey. Charming piece and also very practical with two large drawers for your treasures. It is in great condition. I had this dresser for 20 years and it was already old. I used it in my master bedroom then I put it in my guess room and now I am moving and do not have space for it. Awesome vintage minature maybe a salesman sample from back in the day. Companies would give these away to seniors in high school hoping the parents would by a larger version. Made of Cedar condition is good NOTHING broken chipped or cracked. The mirror is removable. It measures 12 inches long 4 inches deep and it is 10 inches tall. Note the wonderful little brass drawer pulls. Drawers slide in and out with ease, nothing warped. There are a couple of slight scratches, with a bees wax rub you would never notice them.

Up for bid is the vintage/antique WOOD SALESMAN'S SAMPLE VANITY DRESSER/ CHEST OF DRAWERS w/ MIRROR. As seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Looks to be about 1/4 scale. Features a rotating mirror and(3) operable drawers(2 small at top, 1 large at bottom) Arts and Crafts style. Unsigned/no maker's mark(s) Exact age is unknown but I would venture to guess it is from the late 19th/early-to-mid 20th century. Found at an indoor flea market in Andover, N.J. in a booth that was filled with only amazing, old treasures) Made of a lightweight/low density variety of wood(perhaps oak, pine or alike) held together with both nails& screws(see pics) Stained dark brown with lovely patina. Excellent vintage condition with NO major defects whatsoever. Some small/light scratches(mostly to dresser top surface) and other very minor"blemishes" ... morethroughout. Structurally solid& sturdy. Sits flat with NO wobble. I cleaned the dust and smudges off the mirror BUT did nothing else. So aside from the mirror. It is being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. Antique 1916 Mahogany Dresser / Dressing Table / Vanity with Mirror
THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP IN IRWIN. PA 15642 ONLY. NO SHIPPING. Antique vanity/ dresser/ dressing table with mirror. The finish is a dark brown. As shown in the pictures. The facing is missing in a couple places. The mirror has two side mirrors that fold in and out. It has 5 drawers; each drawer has a lock mechanism that looks like it accepts the old style skeleton keys, but I don't have a key for it. The size is about 20 inches deep, 44 inches wide, and 59 inches high. Although I can't tell what they mean, there are several markings on it. Stamped into the wood on the back are the numbers 4474 and 57. 4474 seems like it was important to the manufacturer, because it is in 3 separate places. The mirror is very delicately attached to the dresser. I took the wooden back panel off the mirror to see how it was attached and figure out ... morehow to make it more sturdy, and discovered that the back of the mirror is stenciled with the date June 13, 1916 and an"N" and a"P" which may be the mirror manufacturer's logo. On the inside of the wooden back panel are the words"4474 Mahogany" hand written in cursive pencil. The number"48-88" is stenciled inside the back panel also. 4474 Mahogany Toilet" is also hand written in pencil inside one of the left hand drawers, along with what looks to be the"48-88" again. I looked online but couldn't find information on what these numbers mean or where the vanity came from(or how much it's really worth) I also don't know if"Mahogany" is meant to be the color of the finish, or the type of wood it's made of. The mirror doesn't come off for transportation. It is attached only with 4 screws through the wood mirror frame into the desk part. Which is why the center mirror rocks back and forth a little when the vanity is moved. It could be braced more securely but I don't want to put more screws into it, the new owner can do that. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. It may be, but I think they lied about it. Judging by the one accidental chip when I was first moving it- It may only be stained to LOOK like Mahogany? I honestly don't know? Maybe I don't really know what Mahogany is SUPPOSED to look like? I always do my best to honestly represent my items. I'm just calling it the way I see it maybe somebody can educate me? It is. BETTE DAVIS PERSONALLY OWNED ANTIQUE GOLD TRI-MIRRORED VANITY DRESSER & CHAIR
VINTAGE TRI-MIRRORED VANITY AND CHAIR FROM THE FORMER PALM SPRINGS HOME OF MISS BETTE DAVIS While not a film prop that I know of. This vintage(circa 1920's-30's) vanity dressing table and chair came from the former Palm Springs home of Miss Bette Davis. According to local lore, Miss Davis owned Villa Finamente at 784 Patencio in Palm Springs, near the homes of Mary Pickford, Marie Dressler, Greta Garbo, Barbra Streisand and other film greats in the lovely Las Palmas neighborhood. The former home of Miss Davis, which is pointed out on the Palm Springs City Bus Tour, was Bette's Palm Springs vacation home in the 1940's and then sold sometime in the 1950's. As is an old Palm Springs tradition, homes were often sold"turnkey" meaning all furniture, appliances, artwork, linens, nik-naks, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, ... moreetc. remained in the home upon its sale. The last owner, who purchased the home from Miss Davis, sold the home and all its contents, as"turnkey" is no longer as popular. Many of the pieces sold may have belonged to Miss Davis, but there was no specific proof. The estate sale was held by Ben Hegel Estate Sales Specialist. Although they were aware that this had previously been Miss Davis' home, I was told they had no knowledge that any particular piece may have been hers, with the exception of this vanity and chair. I asked how they knew it had been Miss Davis' The response was that there was an 8x10" photo of Miss Davis sitting at the same vanity, which was sold first thing in the morning along with some other photos of Miss Davis. I asked why they would not keep the photo to be sold with the vanity. The reply was, We didn't think about that! I believe someone in the Palm Springs area, who is perhaps a Davis fan, has this photograph. I do, however, have photographs of the vanity being removed from the Via Finamente estate and a receipt for the vanity on the original Via Finamente Stationery. Up for sale a very nice antique dresser from the 1900's made with a beautiful tiger oak wood. This piece is in real nice condition. With a hand carved swivel mirror, two dome shaped drawers dresser, dovetailed, and have solid brass pulls. This was a nice piece 100+ years ago when it was crafted. It measures approximately 21" d x 41" w x 29.5" h and the mirror measures 19.5" d x 41.5" h. all in fairly nice condition showing normal minor wear.
