We do not have a key for you. The maker is unknown to us. Some of you experts may be able to determine the maker by the hardware and the chest dimensions and the style. 2 Marks on the back: 1. black ink stamp on the upper left corner of the back: 81. 2. in white chalk on the lower back: 1035. Date: circa 1910 Approximate Measurements: 39.5"height(plus 0.5"h of added plastic discs on the bottom of each of the four legs) x 33"w x 17.5"d. Condition: This is in good condition. Please ... moreenlarge the pictures to view all of the condition issues. Condition Issues: The hardware drawer pulls are missing from the next-to-the-bottom drawer. There are nicks and scratches and stains throughout- especially to the top and the top corners since the top overhangs the chest by approximately 1.5" on the sides and 2" on the front. There is a horizontal crack in the back and on(each) both sides. And also a split to the top. Some areas of the finish have that old"glazed" look as if they have suffered from heat. The hand dove-tailed corner out side area of the bottom drawer includes a child's scribble drawing on right outer side of the drawer(which does not show when the drawer is closed) The plastic discs were added at some point in the recent past to the bottom of each leg. The wood is warped on 3 side panels on the left side and on 2 side panels on the right side. We have not cleaned this antique arts& crafts era chest. Or added color. As some of you know, it is rather difficult to find an antique chest of drawers from the arts and crafts era. Please ask any questions before bidding. This is a wonderful antique mission/craftsman oak dresser with mirror for sale. Original wooden roller feet. And mirror is original. Since this is an old piece, the mirror has expected aging to the silvering. Overall the piece is solid and in good condition for its age with only minor scratches to the finish. The drawers open and close and piece is very sturdy. One minor issue with one side of the piece. Near the bottom of the dresser on the right side(as you face the dresser) are a few minor nicks where the original wood has chipped away. Instead of trying to match a stain to the piece, that area was left alone. Also, that same area has a slight bow in the veneer- which is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. Please look at a couple of the last pictures that detail that minor issue. The knobs/pulls are not original to the piece. ... morePICTURES: Please note that the mirror is fine.
