For your consideration I have a beautiful antique vanity. I have owned this piece for the past 18 years and just adore it. However it just does not fit into the style of my current home and I can not see painting over such a nice piece of furniture to make it match. This piece is not in mint condition. It has wear and tear from 3 separate moves. The top portion needs some fine refinishing. This vanity has been refinished before by a professional. There are some scratches and some light chew marks on the edges on the top of the vanity from a past cat that I use to have. Original glass mirror. Piece is made of either solid pine or oak. Very bottom panel on right side under drawers is a little loose, although not at all to the point of falling off. That happened in the last move(sigh) I know how concerns are in Florida when buying furniture ... moreas far as termites& beatles go. This piece has NO infestation issues now or prior to my knowledge. I do not have a matching chair to this. Nice antique oak highboy with a beveled cheval mirror. The original tag is still on the back. This is a wonderful deco-style vanity chest with a triple double-edge batwing mirror top and a burl walnut base that dates from the 1940s ... moreor‘50s. Out of England. The overall size of this great-looking piece is 44 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 29 inches high to the vanity and 64 inches to the top of the mirror. There is a solid walnut carved crest on top of the mirror, and burl walnut veneer covers the entire cabinet, including veneered sides. The piece is in fantastic condition, and we have refinished the top of the cabinet to expose the beautiful veneers. There are three dovetail drawers across the base, and the chair opening size is 17 inches wide and 21 inches high. There is some minor finish loss where the chair has gone in and out over time, but this vanity is in otherwise outstanding condition. Original quartered oak 3 glass dresser mirror
This is a really nice three tier dresser mirror or shaving mirror. As good of original finish as I have seen-smooth. Even, and with a nice aged patina. Piece is completely original in every way. Mirrors are also original with some minor losses-not enough to justify replacement. Drawer in the base for your stuff. Note the beautiful quartered oak used in construction. Circa 1910 I would think.
