Condition: Used Location: Charleston, United States This listing is for a Antique Quarter-sawn Tiger Oak Victorian Glass Ball Claw Footed 2-Tier Parlor Table. This piece stands 30 inches tall~ approx 2 ... more1/2 feet. 22 3/4 inches across the top/ square. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. The way this is constructed, it appears it can be taken apart ~ legs removed and lower shelf removed, for possible shipping. Because of its size and weight. It may need to be shipped Freight~ atleast the top of the table, which I do not have an account or shipping association to do. I can check with UPS and see what would need to be done. Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Vanity/Dresser w. 3 Beveled Mirrors, Circa 1900
This is a very stunning Vanity Dresser in impeccably restored condition. The long beveled mirror in center swivels. The oval beveled mirrors on each side swivel inward(back sides are finished) all mirrors have been re-silvered. A piece of veneer on the top right about 2" by 1-1/2" has been replaced(see photo) and there is an area on bottom of oval mirror on the right measuring about 1" by 1" that has been filled, see photo) It has ornate claw feet on legs as well as on each support under the mirror. This beauty measures 52" wide by 24" deep by 78" tall. This is the loveliest piece of it's kind that I have had in many years. This is an incredibly sweet vanity made of quarter sawn oak(tiger oak) With fantastic hardware made of brass and bakelite(see pics) It is a very old piece, I'd say late l800s, but it has been restored to a beautiful condition, the mirror repaired, and the finish redone. This is a beautiful quarter-sawn oak dresser with four drawers and mirror. Age is unknown. But the unusual dovetail joints should hold a clue. Carved design at bottom of mirror, at dresser bottom and around each drawer front. Dresser measures 19" x 42" and is 31" high at the top of the dresser, 59" at the top of the mirror. Mirror has beveled edges. The silvering behind the bevels appears to be damaged: appears scratched. Paneled ends. Dust separators are in good condition. Dresser appears to have been re-finished. I think this is the best quarter sawn oak vanity or dresser I have ever offered for sale. Butterfly' wing mirrors on each side which are adjustable. This style is sometimes referred to as a Jean Harlow dresser. Super pretty quartered oak with carving on top. Center, under the mirrors, and the center drawer. Heavy carved claw feet, drawers have original brass pulls. Note that the bottom large drawer has three drawers above it; the two with pulls and the one in the center heavily carved. This is a really excellent quartered quarter sawn oak ladies dressing vanity and chair. Vanity has a single drawer with beading on the base and original brass pull. An oval beveled mirror is in excellent condition. Mirror is adjustable and operates properly. The chair has a caned seat in excellent condition and a pretty carved back. Both pieces have been refinished and are in excellent condition with a smooth and even finish. Vanity is 28 wide. 18 deep, and 53 high. Chair is 16 wide, 16 deep, and 41 high. Beautiful Early 1900's Quarter Sawn Solid Oak Dresser with large beveled mirror. Lots of carved details around the mirror and great curved legs. 4 drawers. 2 over 2. Bottom drawer is missing the estucheon for the key hole, I can probably find one to replace it with, but selling with no guarantee of that; the top two drawers also no longer have the locks. There is no key. You will see in the last pic there is a scar on the top of the mirror, you won't ever see this unless you are really tall, I cannot see it when I stand in front of the piece.
