Quality mahogany Tea Table circa American 1940-70 era wide range, rectangular ... moreTray Top dished edge Queen Anne style piece of small furniture that really imitates its bigger brothers of the power names like Kittinger and Henkel Harris, Henredon, on a shoestring budget. Tea Table features nice deep color and grain pattern. With a scalloped skirt resting on four cabriole legs with slight carving to knees, with protective hard rubber foot terminal ending. There are no candle slides on this model. Construction is rock solid steady with stamped markings underneath, but no maker name, could be any one of several small factories making colonial reproductions of good quality well before the internet and big box store days. Glue blocks on corners undererneath are nice and sound. This is all solid wood, not a cheap chip board foreign mahogany lookalike with sprayed laquer finish that looks garish in person! Condition Report: Slight rub mark to leg as shown. Small burn mark on top. General wear and tear of a used piece. But not abuse; I will clean it up before pickup as I do with all my dealer furniture to presentation quality ready for your home. The photos show you as-found condition; we use our own professional quality products, we do not use supermarket sprays or gummy waxes here that build up or smear; it is our goal to bring back life as quietly as possible and revive to as-new with nothing injurious or irreversable damage. Antique Federal Style Flame Mahogany Vanity w/ Hinged Mirror
Antique Federal style mirrored vanity dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the three-part folding mirror. Two small. Dovetailed drawers sit to each side of a long shallow central drawer with a lock. Sorry, no key! Slender tapered legs support the structure and give this piece a light, airy quality. This piece is in very good condition. There are a few very tiny dots of silverloss to the mirrors(they would not show up in pictures) But no cracks or other damage. The wood has some wear associated with age as well, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay. See pictures. Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some noticeable wear associated with age, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay, including the lamp maedallion at the top of the mirror. See ... morepictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right side finial is missing altogether. The knob that goes over the swivel action of the mirror on the right side has come off, but we do have it. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. It comes with the two ditty boxes on top, one of which shows some veneer shrinkage on the face, and a dainty little backsplash, along with a solid mahogany top and an empire style rolled flame mahogany top drawer. There are three underneath, as well, which are all dovetail. It also has acanthus carved posts and multi-turned Sheraton-style legs. It has been all re-sprayed in a dark reddish-brown mahogany stain to bring out the gorgeous grains of the flame mahogany veneers. It’s 44 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 45 inches to the top of the large dresser base, and 55 inches to the top of the backsplash. The section on top with the little drawers is 6 inches tall. It presented with the original opaque brown finish totally hiding the beautiful swirl mahogany grains! I removed the opaque finish and discovered the beautiful graining on this chest. Including on the drawers and the cross banded mahogany around the top edge.The rich reddish brown mahogany has incredible graining as seen in some of the close up photos(close up of the ... moredrawer pull) I restored the finish. Including all of the drawer inside compartments with many, many coats of hand rubbed varnish over the natural mahogany.the chest has a deep, rich, luster showcasing the wood! The chest is a true chest of drawers with drawers that increase in depth(graduated) as you go down the chest.I restored the chest from top to bottom including regluing and clamping all of the drawers. The drawers all feature precise dovetail construction. Both at the front& back corners of the drawers. The drawers all have a extra stiffener support board built into the middle bottom of the drawers. A sure indication of high quality& craftsmanship. This chest is rock solid& built like a tank, made from all hardwood construction.the mahogany is all veneered over poplar secondary woods. The drawers are made of oak.The drawers slide excellently. Chippendale style bracket feet and wrap around trim details of the top and lower portions of the chest are superb details. The detail of the brass hardware is fantastic as you can see in the photos. Vintage Mahogany Chippendale Style High Boy Circa 1900's This great vintage mahogany Chippendale style high boy or chest on chest. Has Queen Anne legs, nicely reproduced brass pulls with pierced back plates, three removable top finials, mahogany veneered drawer fronts with all solid mahogany case and inner drawers also. It is in a very deep mahogany stain with the classic top and has the brass medallion in the top drawer, Johnson Furniture Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is 74 inches high, 19 inches deep, 34 inches wide and is in very good condition with no breaks or repairs and only a satin effect in the finish due to the age and changes in temperature in which I find attractive to the piece. Turn of the Century English Style Dresser with Mirror w/ 5 Drawers in Solid Mahogany with Brass Pulls. The dovetail construction is similar to that of reproduction style furniture manufactured in America between the 1890's-1930's. This piece has a few types of European style detailing throughout. The dresser has 5 drawers. 3 smaller drawers on the top row and 2 large drawers below. The top 3 drawers have working locks but we received the dresser without the matching key. The brass pulls on all the drawers are Prince of Wales Ostrich Feather motifs used in English Style furniture in the 18th Century. The bottom drawer has a French Louis XV/Louis XVI style wood carvings. All the drawers are in excellent working condition(metal pin guides) with clean interiors. The bottom 2 drawers are the largest in size both adorned with the Prince ... moreof Wales brass pulls. Both in good working condition with clean interiors. The front legs are carved in the Edwardian Style with very little wear. And tapered legs in the rear. Side and top mahogany panels are in very good condition with very minor wear. The Louis XV style molding on the sides near the top are very similar to details used in English Style furniture in the 18th Century. The top of the mirror has a gallery style backing with an oval shaped beaded wood pattern and is finished in the center with another wood carved Prince of Wales Ostrich Feather motif. For the age this piece is in excellent condition with exquisite detailing. The dresser also offers lots of storage and will be a great piece to put in any bedroom. Victorian Rococo style Flamed mahogany Bowfront dresser w/matching wall mirror
Victorian period Rococo style flamed mahogany or rosewood bow front commode/dresser drawers with matching wall mirror. The front is veneered flame mahogany with dovetail drawers with french style bronze or brass drawer pulls with great patina on and around the pulls. The drawer guides on the bottom of drawers are metal. The serpentine top looks to be solid mahogany or rosewood with the numbers 57 230 102 stamped into the back of the top. The cabinet is a 9 drawer unit with a hidden compartment above the center drawers. Hand carved designs exist above the outside drawers wrapping around the sides to the back. Hand carving exist on the front rounded corners and between the sets of drawers culminating to a different carving at the bottom matching the whorl feet. Commode/dresser chest has not been cleaned or refurbished in any way by me it does ... morehave a scratch on the side which I have pictured and the top has its patina to show its age. The measurements of the dresser/commode are 64" W x 22" D x 34" H. The matching wall mirror has Rococo hand carved pediment crest cornice at the top with a C scroll cornice missing on right side and on the left side someone has tried to nail the cornice back on this mirror needs some restoration on the carved pediments. Measurements of the mirror are 56" W x 45" H.

There is a couple small nicks along the edge of the top. The top only has one screw holding it on. Some one has painted the sides brown. The top has some scratching and a couple holes where a mirror(not included) would have mounted. The drawer pulls have been changed to brass ones and missing one of them.

Coming from estate of serious antiques collector is this vintage federal style mahogany 8-drawer dresser by Kling. Of Mayville, NY. Still solidly built and shiny, it also has a few scratches likely from moving and accidental lamp placement. See photos to verify. Measures 54-1/4" long x 34-3/4" high x 20-1/4" deep. As the label reads. All exposed parts are solid mahogany from appropriate sources of the time. Vintage 1940's Chippendale Style Mahogany Painted Black Mirror
Beautiful vintage mahogany mirror. It's from the 1940's to the best of my knowledge. I acquired this mirror at an antique store 20 years ago. It measures 34" tall at its highest point and 22" wide. It's in excellent vintage condition. The mirror is a flat mirror. Not beveled. It has a strong wire for easy hanging. I personally painted it a glossy black, giving it an updated look. This outstanding piece measures 42 3/4" wide by 69" high to top of mirror frame. The oriental design lines and organic carving is in the Art Nouveau style.This is an original piece including the finish. Hardware, tilting beveled mirror, and wheels. It is in excellent condition. There are six drawers and two surfaces, with one just below the mirror.
