You could remove the backing and replace the mirror with glass if you wanted to use it as a display case. I purchased this charming antique medicine cabinet from an antique store in 1983. The dresser is 47 1/2 inches tall 35 1/2 inches wide 17 7/8 Inches deep I cleaned it up a bit as you can see. the veneer on the bottom started to peel. But has been re-glued. This is a very handsome solid large golden oak piece that could be used as a bureau or sideboard. Etc. It is in excellent condition and has original ornate brass hardware. The lower bureau is 55.5"WX24"DX36"H. On top is the 40" high original ornate beveled mirror that has some light silvering but still is in fine condition. Thus the total height is 76" or six feet four inches. The two top drawers are 24" wide. The two lower drawers are 49"W. All drawers are fairly deep.
