A little hard to age because the original handles have been chaged to G eorgian style ones. It's certainly not early 19th Century! It's a t wo wi de dresser base the doors on the lower section being secured by brass turn lo ck, has a real quality feel to the mat erial of the construction. The dresser top is a wonderful piece of oak, nicely age patinated. The legs have reeding style moulding and there are a few small mouldings adding to the subtle style. I am selling this miniature dresser for a friend. His Uncle made it in the 1950's.Made of solid wood it is very heavy, beautifully made.The dresser measures 19 inches high and approx. 13 inches long,4 1/2 inches wide.The only nails to be seen are the small ones that have attached the back to the dresser.Two shelves on the top and the base has 2 drawers and 2 cupboards.The drawers and cupboards have lovely hinges and handles.No damage at all, please look at the enlarged photo's to see how good this was made.I am not certain and neither is my friend(Derek) but this may have been an apprentice piece.The workmanship is really outstanding.I do not know what the wood is.Postage will be expensive because it is so heavy but collection/meeting could be arranged.Please ask prior to my sending an invoice because of distance.I will help as much ... moreas I can or rather my husband as I do not drive.Thankyou.

It has some normal knicks and wear that can be expected, It adds character to the vanity. But overall, the finish is in really good condition. It is missing a couple of the roller wheels on the bottom and two pieces of the mirror up top. And we believe it should have a detailed piece of trim over each of the missing mirror pieces and those are not there as well. The new owner will need to replace the mirror and trim. But for the age, it's awesome! It is very sturdy and would make someone a very nice vanity. It measures approximately 30.25"H ... morex 39.75W x 17"D. From bottom to top of mirror measures 65.75"H.
