For your consideration, this beautiful very Fine Quality Walnut ... moreVictorian Fruit and Nut Pierced Carved Mirrored Etagere with Marble Top Serpentine Drawer Base(Circa: 1865) This fantastic Victorian Etagere weighs approximately 170 pounds and measures 87” in total height, 45 ½”in width, and 16” in depth. The carvings and details on this piece are absolutely fabulous! We can confidently attribute this outstanding Etagere to George W. Ware and Company. Boston, Massachusettes. The top of this wonderful Etagere is graced with a magnificent pierced carved crown adorned with massive fruits and nuts. Carved scrolls, a grape cluster, along with leaf and foliate carvings and pierced scrolled work. This glorious crown sits upon the substantial arc-shaped bonnet top which provides the perfect introduction to the large oval mirror. This large oval mirror is encased in beautiful picture-frame moulding and appears to be original. Plenty of display opportunity is found on the eight graduated scalloped display surfaces as well as on the larger center white marble top display area above the serpentine bottom drawer. The white marble top has beveled. Scalloped edging and is in excellent condition for its age. Each of the eight graduated display surfaces are accented with pierced scrolled work and are supported with elegant turned posts with handsome turned finials on top. A lovely pierced carved panel sits beneath the large mirror to provide further ambiance to this fabulous Etagere. Dating from ... morethe 1870s to 1880s this is in great original finish dresser. It has burl raised panel picture frame panel molded drawers on the two large and four small drawers. It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

There are spoon carvings and reeding on the ornate crest and framing the mirror. The mirror is in good condition with just a little fogging and a dark patch across the top portion right next to the upper edge. It’s in nice shape for a mirror of this age. The shine should return if you should polish it. The base has 3 drawers and 1 door. The drawers have Chippendale bail style pulls with a solid back plate and the door has a metal knob pull. The sides and back are paneled and the piece is very solid and sturdy. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and may not be perfect. French Victorian Walnut Triple Beveled Mirror Coral Marble Top Washstand Vanity c1900 Being offered for sale is this beautiful French Victorian Walnut vanity/ washstand with its original coral fossil marble and Triple Beveled Folding mirrors circa 1900. This piece is positively gorgeous and features its original hardware and chamfered boards on the back. What a great piece this would be in a bathroom with a vessel sink installed! What a grand bathroom vanity this would be. The beveled edge coral fossil marble is spectacular and does have some fossil divots and fissures that occur naturally in this kind of marble. There is a bottom rim chip on the side up under the rim that's not very noticeable unless you are looking for it. The original beveled mirrors are in excellent antique condition and the mirror on each side folds to adjust for ... moreviewing. The base offers a substantial amount of storage space and note the elegant carvings on the front of each door with almost heart shaped carvings at the top of the left and right doors.just beautiful.
