This classic Dresser has dove-tailed drawers that are made of solid wood on the inside. And they are working properly. This gorgeous Dresser has drawers with stylish antique Brass-finish handles. And the other drawers have recessed wood handles, see pictures. This Dresser has an interesting Bombé shape on the front. And it is very wide, see pictures. Vintage French Provincial Bombe Triple Dresser by Union National Fine Furniture of Jamestown. NY. The dresser has a total of 9 drawers all with the original Brass pulls. There is a wonderfully curved front and bowed sides with carved trim on the bottom and top of the piece. The dresser top has a beveled edge on the front and 2 sides. The two front cabriole legs are in the French Provincial style with simple back legs. The 3 drawers on each side have one curved break in them closer to the far edge. With the 3 center drawers having two equidistant break from the sides. The hardware on the drawer fronts includes brass rosette plates and a curved brass arm connected by a center brass bead. The companies stamp is located on the upper left drawer. Also, the drawers are wide and deep allowing for lots of storage. Started in 1901. This is a gorgeous mahogany dresser.I'm not sure of it's age.But it's a high quality REPRODUCTION of 19th century furniture with all the details and craftsmanship.It's made of mahogany inside and out.The seven drawers have dovetail joints and four have a lock.I don't have the key but I'm sure you can have one made. Oddly enough.It has two different name brand tags in the small top drawers.One is KAPLAN of Cambridge,MA the other says the BON MARCHE' Lowell,MA It's needs some work but overall in very good condition. This is an absolutely gorgeous three-drawer commode/vanity. A variety of impressive veneers are used throughout the piece. The unique half-round raised center features four book-matched pieces of hardwood trimmed with hardwood cove molding. The outer drawers are dressed with a burl. The center drawer with carved veneers and a sunburst medallion. The top sports a veneer of highly figured tiger stripe. Carved veneers trim the mirror and legs. This is a truly unique piece. Incorporating art deco and old french design sensibilities. From the multi-level serpentine top to the gently rounded outer corners, this vanity is sure to be an heirloom you'll treasure. Vintage White Painted Dresser French Farmhouse Style circa 1898
This dresser was made in the late 1800s by the Mount Airy Furniture Company in North Carolina. It still bears its original labels on the back(see photo 5) This dresser has been hand painted and hand waxed with Annie Sloan chalk paint and soft wax. Knobs on drawers were made in Italy. The bottoms of all drawers have been lined in paper. This beautiful dresser could be used in the bedroom or as a buffet in the dining room. It could also be used to store linens and towels.
