They've been in air conditioned storage since that time. These were commonly used by the medical profession. They are rare. That's for sure. The finish of the paint is still in remarkable condition, though they still need a thorough cleaning. Many of the pictures show the shiny surface of the paint, which was manufactured by DuPont. The metal surface was prepared and sprayed with a rust proofer by the Parker Rust Proof Co, with their product called Bonderite. From the"How to care for SIMMONS FURNITURE guide" SIMMONS FURNITURE protected and enhanced with Du Pont satin-finished HI-BAKE DULUX. SIMMONS Steel furniture is specially finished with Hi-Bake DULUX for outstanding beauty and durability. DULUX is an exceptionally hard finish with excellent moisture resistance that protects against rust or corrosion. With proper care. SIMMONS furniture remains beautifully new for years. Overall condition is good. The drawers are in good condition. With the top drawers showing a little rust on the inside. The second drawer down has only a small amount of rust showing, and the bottom drawer shows no rust. The drawer guides could use some graphite to restore the smooth fluid movement of opening and closing. Each piece has it's own forgivings. I tried my best to display in detail the extent of the abrasions. Dents and scratches. Examine the pictures carefully. If you need larger pics, or perhaps a different view, contact me and I'll send you the requested pics asap. The footstool's fabric is intact- no rips. Tears, holes or cracks and the material is soft and pliable. Someone removed what appears to be shipping tape- and that managed to remove some of the color in a small area which is more noticeable in the pictures than in person. Both reels fit nicely in the tank and the lid of the tank has a snug fit and there are no dings/dents in the tank. As noted there are two reels but I believe one reel is made by Kalt as it has a"K" marking on it and is marked"Made in Germany. Landers Frary& Clark Simmon's Koffee Krusher No. 11 Coffee Mill Circa 1900 Made In the USA Up for your consideration is what appears to be an all original antique coffee grinder. This is one of the rarest varieties of the Landers.Frary& Clark No. 11 coffee grinders and it is completely intact with what appears to be the original decals, paint and pin-striping. Upon arrival, this coffee grinder was covered in dirt and grime. After carefully wiping it down, the dirt was easily removed and the decals and gold details were discovered. Amazingly, the decals and paint were in remarkable condition. After a simple wash with soap and water. The grinding burs also cleaned up to near perfect condition. There is very little known about the history of this particular grinder but it looks as though it is an original piece that may have been ... morestored away and protected from years of damage. There are a few chips in the paint that have been touched up. The base and handle are original. Everything functions as if it were new. There is no way to know for sure if the finish is original. But based on my experience with coffee mills, I truly believe it is. I have been collecting and restoring mills for several years and this is the first time I have come across a mill in this kind of condition. Please review photos and determine the authenticity for yourself. This mill was manufactured in the early 1900's and is constructed of cast iron; the body. A lid, drawer and a crank handle. Everything functions properly just like it should. The mill measures 12 3/4" tall, has a metal catch drawer and the lid swings open on a mounted fixed pin. The oak base measures 6" x 6 3/4" This mill is the perfect size to display in your kitchen, on a table or on a shelf. 44" tall fully up. Condenser Lamphouse is a type B. Lamp is PH-111A. Stand is a B8. Lens is Rodenstock Omega 1:4.5 F=75mm 4 867 419 Serial on frame is 146555. Mounting board is 26" x 18" Power cord has some electrical tape on it right where it exits the lamphouse. On.off switch is in the wiring and works good. Everything adjusts fine and it is in very good cosmetic condition if you excuse the dust and a little dirt. Mounting board has some stains and finish wear. Lamp that is in it does work. This vintage QSL Card postcard features the Amateur Radio call sign in the center front. With the Buffalo seal of the Province of Manitoba, Canada Although the handwritten message(written in fountain pen ink) Is difficult to read(lousy handwriting) it appears that" H.A. Simmon" sent the first card Washington DC. And commented about what the person who got it must be thinking. On the back(address side) H.A. wrote an additional message with his QSO information that reads: XMTA-2-245S PP-TNT 350 VLTS RCVR-58-57-35-47 Mailed ur om card the 14th hi hi 73. The 2 cent Canadian Postage stamp is in ok condition. With the cancel stripes across the bottom three-quarters of the stamp. Measures aprox 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 ... moreinches CONDITION: Front of card is a darker tannish brown. While the address side is a greenish brown with darkening discoloration around the edges. There are pinholes in the top and bottom center. Edges and corners show wear. Here is a perfectly charming little squirrel figurine by Robert Simmons of California Pottery. It was made sometime in the 1950's and has wonderful design and color. His name is"Frisky" and he has a couple of other squirrel friends that he was originally sold with. But now he stands alone. Maybe you are looking for a replacement or are building the set of three?
