A very nice Victorian era oak bent wood stick and ball vanity. Dressing, or decor two panel screen. This wonderful C1890's folding style screen still has its original varnish finish-which is in very fine condtion. All of the metal connectors, washers, and screws are solid brass. Many of the connectors are stamped with the folowing: Pat. Feb. 16'92(1892) This vanity or bedroom screen is in exceptional condition. No broken, missing, or damaged sticks, balls, or spindles. No cracks in the bentwood sections. The metal rods that hold the cloth for the panels appear to be all original. They have a round metal ball on each end that fits perfectly into a round hole on the vertical oak dowels. The screen can be positioned at almost any angle, and folds neatly in half if desired. For auction. A vintage toleware compote with gilt roses at the base and the original lid with a rose knob. This compote is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Antique Federal style mirrored vanity dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the three-part folding mirror. Two small. Dovetailed drawers sit to each side of a long shallow central drawer with a lock. Sorry, no key! Slender tapered legs support the structure and give this piece a light, airy quality. This piece is in very good condition. There are a few very tiny dots of silverloss to the mirrors(they would not show up in pictures) But no cracks or other damage. The wood has some wear associated with age as well, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay. See pictures. For your consideration I have a beautiful antique vanity. I have owned this piece for the past 18 years and just adore it. However it just does not fit into the style of my current home and I can not see painting over such a nice piece of furniture to make it match. This piece is not in mint condition. It has wear and tear from 3 separate moves. The top portion needs some fine refinishing. This vanity has been refinished before by a professional. There are some scratches and some light chew marks on the edges on the top of the vanity from a past cat that I use to have. Original glass mirror. Piece is made of either solid pine or oak. Very bottom panel on right side under drawers is a little loose, although not at all to the point of falling off. That happened in the last move(sigh) I know how concerns are in Florida when buying furniture ... moreas far as termites& beatles go. This piece has NO infestation issues now or prior to my knowledge. I do not have a matching chair to this. I especially like the door with the Red Cross symbol. It has Initial Office of First Aid Outfit painted on it. There are ventilation holes at the top and bottom of the cabinet. Some of the silver is lightly worn on the mirror which gives it that vintage charm I so love. The original finish is in excellent ... morevintage aged condition. There is a split in one section of the wooden towel bar which is not usual for it vintage age and usage. It can be hung with the two round hooks at the top. It is very heavy so use wall anchors with your screws to safely secure it to the wall. The wood backing on the inside that covers the mirror has a couple of gouges in the wood. You could remove the backing and replace the mirror with glass if you wanted to use it as a display case. I purchased this charming antique medicine cabinet from an antique store in 1983. I haven’t seen another one like this one since. I filled it with vintage toiletries and hung it in my powder room. Everyone always complimented me on this beautiful piece. I have recently remodeled. This bedroom was set was purchased at an antique store in Eureka. California for $3,500 about 8 years ago. Made by Morris Furniture Manufacturing Company, Los Angeles. It includes: Nightstand. 16 in wide x 13 in deep x 27 in tall- Vanity. 48.5 in wide x 18.5 in deep x 30 in tall without mirror, or 65 in tall with mirror attached- Stool with original upholstery underneath a layer of modern fabrics. 22 in wide x 12 in deep x 17.5 in tall- Dresser with five drawers. 32 in wide x 19.5 in deep x 49 in tall The set will require some polish. There are only two pieces of the original glass left(on the sides of the vanity) and the hardware is not original. There are some watermarks on the top of the nightstand. All in all the set is in good shape and is very lovely. The construction is fantastic.

To the base it has a knee hole or some times in England years ago they used to let the dog sleep in there.They called it a dog kennel, it has the original cut glass handle. These are a very nice pair of Dressing Table and Washstand made in England circa 1900. This is a very old vanity or dresser set in great condition. The items appear to be bakelite but I am going by what I was told when I purchased the lot at an estate sale. The pictures show the pieces to have a design or it might be stains that bleed throughout the backs with metal tear drops in the center. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. I only used water to clean these because I did not want to jeapordize damaging the set with any chemicals. The measurements are as follows. Mirror: 10 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide. Brush: 8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches wide. File: 6 3/4 inches long X 1 inch wide. Container or Storage Box: 7 inches long X 2 inches wide x 1 inch deep. This table could also be considered a functional vanity or dresser! Original glass covers the top of the vanity to protect the wood. Original drawer knobs, and added in each drawer are paper covering the bottoms held in place by push pins to protect the wood. The original mirror tilts up and down, not stationary. The stool has not been reupholstered, all original fabric. A WONDERFUL RARE FIND IN SUPERB ANTIQUE CONDITION. TRULY CHARMING DRESSER STYLE* Round mirror dresser in exceptionally nice condition; is located in Beebe. In central AR, from a local estate, measures 69 inches tall, 42 inches wide, and 16 inches front to back. It dates from about 1915-1935. The still very nice mirror shows only a very few tiny imperfections. Original wood castors re m ain. Wood surfaces are in nice condition. One photo shows the right end panel, and just behind the leg there is a small nick from the surface wood measuring about 1 inch x 3/4 inch.which because of its small size and location at the bottom edge, is not easily noticed.
