Beautiful blanket chest features a front panel of pine that is a single cut- this size cut-pine probably can no longer be found. Likely dates to the 1700's. With lift top and two lower drawers. It is a warm-toned and handsome piece. Replacing hardware would improve its look. Top lift panel was damaged in a move and professionally repaired. Finish has not been touched. There is some additional wear on the edges, which pictures reveal. Was appraised at over $2,000 more than 20 years ago. Measures 41" square. Local pick up only- Newton. Mass- 8 miles west of Boston

Description Wonderful Victorian Dresser in Solid Pine. Great old dresser in the best material for far mhouse or country kitchen use. U nusual to find in such small proportions. Usually th ese 19th Century ones are quite large. Here is one that will go in most kitchens. It's a t wo wi de dresser. The base is two short drawers o ver two long. They all have batwing style(Georgian) handles and lo ck surrounds. The upper section is carved and shaped. It has an unusual rail presumably for tea-towels or cloths. There are some very old cup hooks screwed into the front edge, these are of varying designs, they're all very old and again add to the feel. T h e whole piece feels provincially made. Antique 19th Century Primitive Pine Small Dresser
I have Primitive Pine Small Dresser with very fine and thin dovetail construction of the drawers. The styling of the drawers is classic for such early American Antiques such as this. I bought this piece over 30 years ago from an antique dealer who dated it from the late 1800’s. Dresser is in good condition with desirable weathering. With knotty pine. It measures approx. 32 ½"h x 33”w x 16"deep and stands nicely on bun feet. It does have some staining on the top There are brass lock and keyholes on all the drawers. One drawer is missing the brass lock and one drawer is missing brass keyhole. Please see photos) The key is not included but all of the drawers are currently unlocked and slide smoothly. Antique Pine Dressing Table with Framed 3 Sided Mirror
This is a beautiful pine dressing table. It has carved detail around the border of the mirror and on the doors of the table. The mirror comes off if desired. The sides of the mirror are movable. Each side of the dressing table has a cabinet with a shelf and in the middle there is a drawer. Everything is original. It has a few scratches and stains as you can see but nothing major at all. Some of the pieces of wood are separating a very little bit as old pieces will do but again nothing major at all. It's absolutely beautiful and I've enjoyed it for many years. This looks as if it would have fit well in a castle- but seriously is a very large and unusual piece. Circa around 1840, pre-civil war, is made of pine with a dark reddish-colored stain. Measures 58.5 inches wide, 25 inches deep and 64.5 inches tall. Has huge drawers for lots of great storage, each drawer is about 10 inches tall. Looks to be all hand carved, dove tailed, awesome pulls. Not sure if hardware is original but the hardware is some seriously nice hardware. Please see photos for description. Antique pine dresser from Maine. I was told its from the 1800s. Bought at auction in the early 90s. In great shape. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. Must pick up(94525) Will not ship. Antique New Hampshire Chippendale Chest of 5 Drawers c. 1800 Pine
Fantastic antique New Hampshire Chippendale chest of drawers. Constructed from pine. This piece has been stained a beautiful deep reddish brown tone. The chest has five graduated doors, each with sturdy dovetail construction and brass willow mount pulls and escutcheons. The chest has a classic overhanging molded top, which is balance my simple bracketed feet at the piece's base. This chest probably dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. Overall. The chest is in fair to good antique condition, but does have some wear and dings commensurate with age and use. One of the escutcheons also has a break near the top, as you can see from the pictures below. Otherwise no significant damage or visible repairs. This chest stands 41" tall and measures 38 3/4" wide and 19 1/2" deep. It has a lovely patina to it, original turned knobs, and is a very sturdy piece of furniture. English pine dressers make great additions to beach homes, cabins, or any room that has a rustic flair to it. English pine from the Victorian period(circa 1890) is getting quite hard to come by and should be attractive to any antique collector. While pine from Eastern Europe ... moreis plentiful here in the US now. It does not have the charm or history of the antique English pine. Since most pieces like this have already been exported from England, we do our best to procure nice examples of Victorian pine whenever possible for our customers. The classic two over three drawer design still functions very well with the drawers sliding in and out quite easily. The dresser does not wobble and is very sturdy. You will notice several repairs on both the left and right sides of the chest. As well as a filled in gap on the top. These gaps and repairs come from the wood shrinking over the many years of its life, which leaves gaps where the wood used to be joined. These have been filled in and add character to the chest. One of the wooden knobs has a broken base, but if you turn the knob so the broken part is facing down you don’t see it. There are locks present on the drawers but no key. There is also a section on the very back of the right side with some damage which we have photographed.
