Vintage 1960's Mid-Century Sectional Sofas Daybeds Retro Danish Modern Eames Era
Up for Auction is a Fabulous Mid Century Modern Two Piece Sectional Sofa. This was purchased in the 1960's and has not been used for the past 30 yrs. All Original Orange Vinyl Material. These were often used as daybeds the back slips right off. Each couch is 72"long by 30"deep. To the top of the back it is 27" from the floor to the seat it is 14.5" These are in wonderful condition for there age, as far as flaws the one couch has two buttons missing, the one spot where the button is shows a little tear, on the corner on the bottom you will see a small tear I did show that in the pictures, on the back of the couch there are metal brackets where the wood slats fit in, there is a spot of material missing behind the one metal bracket,nothing that is noticeable.The metal brackets do need some polishing they do have some ... morepitting in the metal. The other couch looks great the only flaw I see is a couple of very small pin head spots, very hard to notice hard to pick them up in the pictures. They have not been used for so long I did clean them, the room these were in was very clean no musty or dampness.These are Awesome, you can place these anyway you would like to. The end tables are listed in another auction. Now because of the size these would need to go out Greyhound, they weigh around 65lbs before packing. If going out Greyhound I will take the legs off and the back off and blanket wrap them. Shipping will run 250 that is one price for both Couches. Once this is purchased and I bring them down to Greyhound if the price is less then expected I will refund you the difference. VINTAGE MID CENTURY MOD~BLUE HOUNDSTOOTH~SECTIONAL SOFA~BUILT-IN CORNER TABLETOP
We bought this piece about a month ago. And it just doesn't work for our space. Vintage 2 Piece mid century modern sectional sofa. The fabric is the gorgeous original blue hounds-tooth material that wrapped this sofa in the 1960's. The sofa has a small built in corner table. That is laminate wood. The table is flawless. The sofa has classic tapered legs with brass ends. The cushions have recently been replaced with heavy duty foam within the last year. It has some small marks and discoloration in the fabric. But for it being from the 60's it is very minor and almost unnoticeable in the areas including the marks. This sofa is truly stunning and would be the finishing touch for any mid century modern decor. Please examine photos. Mid Century Sectional Modern Sofa Vintage Couch Milo Baughman Eames Wood Veneer
This is a vintage. Mid century modern low profile sectional sofa, probably from the late 60's-early 70's. Not sure who designed or made it, but its very similar to some of the Milo baughman pieces from that era. It's a 3 piece sectional. The largest piece has the attached side table. And measures approx 83" long. Then 2nd sofa piece measures approx 66" long, and is approx 26" deep. The 3rd piece, the connecting wedge, or"triangle" Adds an additional 44" of length to each side. Giving all 3 pieces an overall length of approx 127" on the long side(with the attached table included) and 110" of overall length on the shorter side. The frame is well built. And quite heavy. The wood grain is a dark, chocolate black colored synthetic veneer, and the legs are solid chromed steel. Also, the fabric ... moreon this piece is a beige microfiber, but since it was custom designed to be removeable, it is extremely easy to wash. And if you wanted to get it reupholstered. The beige microfiber cover can be used by any upholsterer as the pattern to reupholster the sofa in any fabric or color you want. This makes it easier(and less expensive) to reupholster than any other piece like it. As you can see, the actual sofa fabric under the cover is in pristine condition! This is really an amazing piece. We purchased it from the original owner about 2 years ago. And built our entire aesthetic for our home around this sofa. However, we are planning to move soon, and the sofa just doesn't fit as well with some of the newer pieces we've purchased. So it's time for it to find a new home. Local Pick up Only.

This is a Castro Convertible sectional sleeper sofa from 1962. The sleeper is single size. Serial# 21170564. The sofa is in excellent condition and the upholstery is original.
