Condition: Used Location: Wimauma, United States Deutsch Brothers Louis XV Style French Provincial Carved Sofa/ Settee This is a beautiful and rare piece of American made furniture from Chicago. I have ... moreseen a few other pieces of Deutsch Brothers furniture but none in this decent of shape.We have been dealing in furniture for several years and have rarely seen these pieces come up. This was purchased from an entire estate locally here in Reno. Nevada. There is not a great deal known about Deutsch Brothers Furniture. They were located in Chicago and apparently closed sometime from 1920-1927 due to a bankruptcy that was the result of a fire in their warehouse. It is later noted that Deutsch Brothers were commissioned in 1961 by Jacquelyn Kennedy to design furniture in the Louis XV style for the East Room of the White House. After completion of this project. All details of the pieces were to be destroyed so that no duplicates could be made. My guess is that there were not. This piece, besides the color, appears to be the exact piece ordered by Mrs. Kennedy. It is still on display in the Music Room of The White House. Click the link below to check it out. Condition and Dimensions: The piece was well cared for and looks to have very little to no wear at all. There are no rips. Tears, or staining on any of the fabric at all. Fabric is a pink floral pattern through out with darker pink and gold accent flowers. Not sure the exact type of wood but it is painted all white with gold accents acroos the whole piece. Cushion shows no wear on either side. I provided photos of both sides. Woodwork is solid. No cracking or breaking anywhere. Color is unfaded. Thie piece has been kept in a very dark house and has seen very little light. On a scale of 1 to 10 for condition, 10 being best, I would say this piece is an 8 or 9. This sofa is 53 1/2 inches wide from arm to arm. It measures roughly 33 inches deep from front to back. Seat height is 18 inches. The height is 36 1/2 inches tall along the curved corner areas and 34 inches tall in the middle where the birds are located. The

French Provincial Furniture Set Can Deliver See Description
The dresser is 64" long. 19" deep and 30" tall. The attached mirror is 27 by 43" The drawers are 20" wide, 15" deep and 5 inches tall. The middle drawers are 14" wide with the same depth and hight as the outside drawers. There is a 5" clearance under the dresser. The middle door is one piece and is hinged on the left and has a magnetic closure. The entire dresser is outlined with gold paint. There are some signs of wear on the sides and from with some nicks and scratches, mostly around the legs. There are some stains on the top of the dresser as well. The big one pictured was from some perfume that leaked onto it. The night stand is 27" wide, 16" deep and 24" tall. The two drawers are 20" wide, 5" tall and about 12" deep. Bombay Cottage French Provincial 6 Pc Bedroom Set Fagone Furniture San Francisco
This auction is for a 6 piece bedroom set from the 1970's- 1980's. It was ordered and purchased from the Figone Fine Furniture Store. On Stockton St in San Francisco. This was a family owned and operated business from 1947 to 1987. They carried only the best.and this set is a perfect example. It is a Country French Provincial style with each piece showing the Bombay front and sides. Bombe is a French term for any rounded or convex piece of furniture. The word bombe means. Literally, bomb-shaped, bulging' or'curving outward. This is a solid, heavy wood. All of the ornamentation is made of wood.not some plaster material. All the joining is tongue and groove. All the drawers have smooth glides. I have included pictures of the finish and one close up of the ornamentation on the mirror. There are no missing pieces of wood and no ... moregouges or chinks. There is some wear to the outside finish that I will talk about as I discuss each piece. All measurements will be taken at the fullest point. The headboard is for a king bed. Measures 85" across and 66" tall. It is in beautiful condition. There is no footboard.just the headboard. The dresser and mirror are separate. The mirror hangs from the wall and is in beautiful condition. Measures 66" wide and 47 1/2" tall. The dresser is 81" long and 23" deep and 36" tall. ** Lot 4 Ornate French Provincial Vintage Style Drawer Pulls Furniture Hardware
Note; One of these pulls has a small fracture/crack on one side. I include a macro photo of this in this listing so as to be as honest and fair as possible. Please review the photos carefully. This pull still seems to be structurally sound. If you have any trepidation at all; check out my other listing; I have an identical set of drawer pulls that do not have any cracks in them. 4 ornate French Provincial style metal drawer pull handles.Each handle measures approximately 6"long by 2" high. They were attached to an old piece of furniture by means of tight pressure fit into approximately 1/4" diameter holes spaced approximately 3" on center. You can see the"lug" on the stems that pressure fits. However. I see that the"lugs" have threaded holes in them too. I assume that these can also be installed using ... morescrews as well. Other than one pull that has a small crack in it; these are in very nice condition. Please study pictures carefully as. These are part of the description. Note; I am not an expert. Nor am I familiar with all the proper terms. I try to describe everything as honestly as possible. THEY WERE PURCHASED NEW IN THE EARLY 1980'S. THE DRESSER IS 60" LONG; 18" DEEP; AND 31" HIGH; AND HAS 9 DRAWERS. THE MIRROR IS 38" LONG AND 33" HIGH. THE MIRROR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE DRESSER HAS A MINOR STAIN ON THE RIGHT BOTTOM DRAWER AND ON THE TOP(PIC 6) THE BACK OF THE DRESSER IS SLIGHTLY"WAFFLY" THE HEADBOARD IS DOUBLE BED SIZE AND DOES HAVE BED RAILS. Up for auction are these EXQUISITE pieces of French Provincial Furniture. They are dated from the 1950's and are all original. All pieces have been well taken care of. All the upolstery is in great condition with no holes or tears. The cane sides of the sofa is in near perfect condition and the frames of all the pieces are in great condition with normal wear and tear along with some scratches but they simply add to this lovely Chic set. If you would like additional pictures please ask. The couch measures 7' long by 32" deep and at the tallest point on the back 33" tall. The chairs measure 27 1/2" wide and 32" deep.
