I have ... moreseen a few other pieces of Deutsch Brothers furniture but none in this decent of shape.We have been dealing in furniture for several years and have rarely seen these pieces come up. This was purchased from an entire estate locally here in Reno. Nevada. There is not a great deal known about Deutsch Brothers Furniture. They were located in Chicago and apparently closed sometime from 1920-1927 due to a bankruptcy that was the result of a fire in their warehouse. It is later noted that Deutsch Brothers were commissioned in 1961 by Jacquelyn Kennedy to design furniture in the Louis XV style for the East Room of the White House. After completion of this project. All details of the pieces were to be destroyed so that no duplicates could be made. My guess is that there were not. This piece, besides the color, appears to be the exact piece ordered by Mrs. Kennedy. It is still on display in the Music Room of The White House. Click the link below to check it out. Condition and Dimensions: The piece was well cared for and looks to have very little to no wear at all. There are no rips. Tears, or staining on any of the fabric at all. Fabric is a pink floral pattern through out with darker pink and gold accent flowers. Not sure the exact type of wood but it is painted all white with gold accents acroos the whole piece. Cushion shows no wear on either side. I provided photos of both sides. Woodwork is solid. No cracking or breaking anywhere. Color is unfaded. Thie piece has been kept in a very dark house and has seen very little light. On a scale of 1 to 10 for condition, 10 being best, I would say this piece is an 8 or 9. This sofa is 53 1/2 inches wide from arm to arm. It measures roughly 33 inches deep from front to back. Seat height is 18 inches. The height is 36 1/2 inches tall along the curved corner areas and 34 inches tall in the middle where the birds are located. The

French Provincial Antique Settee[Loveseat. Sofa] 18th Century Item# 120001GJB01 This listing is for a French Provincial Carved Fruitwood Antique Settee. Probably crafted during the late 18th(possibly early 19th) Century. It is a rather interesting piece, boasting a steeply serpentine frame, curving around the upholstered back with offshoots of acanthus carvings throughout, culminating at the top center in a carved foliate motif. Long rounded arms slope from the back, curling into deep hand rests over cabriole arm supports. A flat upholstered seat rests over a wavy apron with foliate carvings that mirror the crest, flanked by cabriole legs terminating in french toes wrapped in acanthus leaves. The joints are locked in place with exposed peg construction. The back of the sofa is exposed, held in place with iron braces that secure the back firmly ... morein place. This is a cute settee with good strength throughout. Despite it's age and delicate nature, making it an antique you can live with and enjoy comfortably. With a warm patina throughout in deeply polished surfaces and a highly oxidized finish, this antique french settee would work well in the formal living room just as easily as a large bedroom between a pair of windows or at the end of the bed. Measurements: 49" wide x 21 1/2" deep x 40" high; seat is 17 1/2" high from the ground Condition Report: Inactive pest damage throughout. Chips. Dings and repairs throughout. Right arm slightly loose, though not structurally a problem. Minor upholstery stains throughout. Small snags in one area of upholstery. Hi this item is located in Rochester Michigan 48307. I am 20 miles Nw of Detroit. 1 1/2 hours from Toledo and 5 1/2 hours from Chicago. You can contact for a door to door delivery quote. For sale is a vintage French Provincial sofa from the 1940's- 1950's. I had this piece reupholstered and had new cushions made. The spring were also tightened. I paid around $1400.00 to the reupholsters. It took over 15 yards of fabric to recover. The sofa has a decorative carved wood frame. The piece is in really great condition. The wood does have some scratches. There is one small pink mark on the internal seat of the sofa(see last photo) I would describe the color as seal brown. It does have that"grey/brown" color. Deutsch Brothers Louis XV Style - French Provincial Pink Sofa Sette
Deutsch Brothers Louis XV Style French Provincial Carved Sofa/ Settee This is a beautiful and rare piece of American made furniture from Chicago. I have seen a few other pieces of Deutsch Brothers furniture but none in this decent of shape.We have been dealing in furniture for several years and have rarely seen these pieces come up. This was purchased from an entire estate locally here in Reno. Nevada. There is not a great deal known about Deutsch Brothers Furniture. They were located in Chicago and apparently closed sometime from 1920-1927 due to a bankruptcy that was the result of a fire in their warehouse. It is later noted that Deutsch Brothers were commissioned in 1961 by Jacquelyn Kennedy to design furniture in the Louis XV style for the East Room of the White House. After completion of this project. All details of the pieces were to ... morebe destroyed so that no duplicates could be made. My guess is that there were not. This piece, besides the color, appears to be the exact piece ordered by Mrs. Kennedy. It is still on display in the Music Room of The White House. Click the link below to check it out. Condition and Dimensions: The piece was well cared for and looks to have very little to no wear at all. There are no rips. Tears, or staining on any of the fabric at all. Fabric is a pink floral pattern through out with darker pink and gold accent flowers. Not sure the exact type of wood but it is painted all white with gold accents acroos the whole piece. Cushion shows no wear on either side. I provided photos of both sides. Woodwork is solid. No cracking or breaking anywhere. Color is unfaded. Thie piece has been kept in a very dark house and has seen very little light. On a scale of 1 to 10 for condition, 10 being best, I would say this piece is an 8 or 9. This sofa is 53 1/2 inches wide from arm to arm. It measures roughly 33 inches deep from front to back. Seat height is 18 inches. The height is 36 1/2 inches tall along the curved corner areas and 34 inches tall in the middle where the birds are located. The

This Beautiful Sofa was given to us by our Parents. We had it re-upholstered in 1982 and it has been in our home but sat on very little. We are downsizing and need to find a good home for this beauty! The frame is hardwood and vey heavy duty. the material is a lovely velveteen material with a large floral pattern. CUTE SETTEE This settee is super cute with a French provincial feel to it. Would be fabulous re-upholstered and the frame painted gold or cream. There are cracks to the wood from age typical for its age. But its still super sturdy. Its got a great down filled pillow. There is some staining to side which I try to show, however could easily be covered up with some pillows on this. The fabric is a creamy color and it could definitely use some updating but its still quite nice as is for its age, neutral enough to go with just about any décor. GORGEOUS Vintage French Provincial Goldish Yellow Silk Brocade SOFA Gorgeous Sofa with OPENWORK on the Arms in Excellent Vintage Condition. This couch was in a seating room for the past 30 plus years( mainly for decoration and family holiday photos) and had clear plastic slip cover that covered the couch. PLEASE VIEW PICTURES The Sofa is two toned with a leaf design. Base color is a satin goldish yellow and the leaf design is a pale yellow almost white looking color. The close up pictures show the color much better. The Sofa is Solid. Firm and no wobbling. Couch Sofa And Chair French Provincial Set Vintage Tufted
Couch 31" high X 35" deep X 91" long Chair 31" high X 35" deep X 29" wide Pay close attention to the length of the couch. It's very long. I am not a furniture dealer so I will describe this set to the best of my knowledge and am glad to answer any other questions you may have. This set was in my grandmothers house since I was very young. I am now 49. That is all I know about the age. We were never allowed to even sit on it back then. So the 3 years at my home, in a room we rarely use are all the wear there is. Minor surface scratches on the wood, and light wear on the fabric. When I got the set, the foam in the cushions was dry rooted. I had the covers dry cleaned and the foam replaced by a professional. The couch spring area in the center, seemed to droop, so it was repaired. Still has all original springs, ... moreetc. everything was held in by nails and some had started to back out. So repair consisted of putting everything back in place. The staples putting the fabric cover back over the bottom are partially new. None of this can be seen unless you look underneath. Fabulous gorgeous vintage sofa! French provincial carved wood design Pink silk brocade fabric with floral design This sofa was an estate piece. With the exceptions of a couple of places of aged wear this sofa is beautiful! There is a spot at the bottom of the sofa where the channeling or tube looking portion of the upholstery has worn. There is also a spot on the top of the sofa where again the tubing/channeling portion of the upholstery has come undone. I'm sure this could be fixed but I do not know how to do it myself. I will show these two things in the last two photos. There is also a spot where the seam has come apart on the interior of one arm. Other than that this sofa is in very good condition! Just lovely! Vintage French Provincial split sofa
This is a"split" sofa in blue satin done in a french provincial stain. The pieces are each approx 50" long and can be used together(as shown) or separated to go around a corner. The fabric on the sofas show a little fade. The frame. However, is in perfect condition and is a great candidate for recovering. The sofa dates from the late 1950s/ early 1960s and.
