Mid Century Walnut Trundle Sofa Bed - RARE FIND!
This couch has been used. Both as a sofa and as a guest bed. It is as I purchased it years ago. The fabric is wide whale striped yellow on top and the bottom cushion is an avocado green with yellow and brown stripes. There are rubs and scrapes on the wood front, arms and legs. Apparently, prior to my ownership it was allowed to get wet and dry without anyone wiping up the water. It has left white spots on several places. The cushions both have stains from the wired bed springs, but not that noticeable. This is a piece of furniture that has been loved and cared for(during my ownership) and I know that someone who really appreciates the Danish Modern style furniture will continue with that same pride of ownership. COWBOY COUCH w/ wagon wheel arms converts to sofa bed--refinished and restored!
In addition to looking very cool. This cowboy couch folds out into a bed! It was lovingly restored but now I am moving to a smaller house and no longer have room. The cowboy couch was completely dismantled so the wood could be refinished. The lighter colored insert has an embroidered and slightly raised design of a saddle with stirrups draped over a hitching post with a rope entwined around it. You have to see this cowboy couch to appreciate how cool it is. And it is very comfortable! Measures almost 7' long and x 3' wide. The oak wood side arms are wide enough to put a cup on. I paid $2400 to have it beautifully restored and my asking price is just half that-GREAT deal for a truly unique piece that is super functional.

This is a great piece for any mid century or Danish modern home. Great if you need an extra bed because it folds out to create a FULL SIZED bed. The upholstery could probably use a good cleaning. Wood appears to be Maple, some very slight water marks on bottoms of legs,was like that when I bought it. Upholstery was professionally done using the original cushions and back rests.
