It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Here is a Beautiful Vintage'slightly' off white French Provincial styleTufted Sofa. The Sofa features a gorgeous slightly off white tufted backrest and a beautiful french provincial style wood frame with caned side panels. I believe the material is satin. There is a very nice sheen that looks and feels like satin or a material similar to it. It's in wonderful condition! No flaws other than a small dirt mark on the right front which will be easy to clean and I noticed a very faint halo of a water mark on the seat cushions. Crafted after the originals of the mid-18th Century, probably during the years of 1900-1915 or thereabouts. It is a truly timeless design, replicated since it's origination in the first Rococo period in France even until today. This sofa is entirely carved by hand, the exposed frame around the sofa with crisp molding that culminates in the crest, a bouquet of flowers with mixed foliate. Acanthus leaves peak up over the frame along the serpentine top rail as it flows into curled arms that almost wrap into the front, creating that classic canape warmth and completing the overall flowing form of the design. The entire sofa ... moreis upholstered in a pink upholstery- please read the condition below, as it is in overall"good" condition, but has blemishes that are not well captured by the camera. Description: Offered here is an awesome mid century modern two piece sectional sofa. Angular style in the manner of Paul Laszlo. Designer and manufacturer are unknown. Dates to the early 1950s. Features three button tufted backs and loose cushion seats. The original upholstery is brown with abstract lines running through it. The legs are blonde tapered wood that are set back from the edges to make the sections appear to be floating. A popular mid century design due to the smaller atomic ranches of the 50s to give the illusion of more space. The arms are cushioned and are set at an angle. The bottom edge of the ends taper up to mimic the same lines of the arms. Comes with matching arm covers. Looks great together or with a corner table sitting at an angle. This listing is for a mid-century. Vintage couch or sofa. Brand is A. Brandt Ranch Oak. It is so sturdy and well-made! It has the original fabric covering, which a blue/cream/ombre stripe style, please view photos. The photo of the back of the couch shows some yellow, but that is just the camera. The fabric looks itchy, but it is not. The cushions could use a good steam cleaning, to brighten, as the back of the couch looks brighter than the cushions. This well-made couch is so comfortable. It is sturdy, but easily moved, even on carpeting, as it has 4 rollers underneath. The sides of the couch are interesting with lattice-style design sides. Parts of the black covering on the bottom of the couch has ripped away from the staples, but we reattached some of it, but could use a few more staples to hold the black fabric more securely. This is a very nice sofa frame. Suitable for country or formal decor, nice with an English manor house look or Americana. It's all about what you use for upholstery. Right now, as it sits, everything but the springs will need to be replaced. This is the way to buy a sofa. I bought it for the way it sits. ALL of the old camelback sofas from the middle of the 20th century- and earlier- sit like a sofa should sit. I am just fed up with hearing about it's important that a sofa be good for lying down. Folks- if a sofa is any darn good, you won't have to lie down. It should sit so that you can read the paper or read a book for extended periods without needing to lie down or see a chiropractor- or both. Really. This is a standard 7 foot sofa and will need 13 or so yards to cover it, depending on what sort of a pattern you choose. It ... moresits just great, but is worn out. This is a matched set. Henredon is known as one of the premium manufactures in the furniture business. This is a rose colored sofa and matching chair with it's own ottiman. This set was covered with slip covers for years. Which perserved the original rose fabric. We did see a couple of what appear to be water stains(possibly clear soft drink) on the under portion of a couple of the cushions of the sofa. Small area on each, not affecting the look or condition of the top surface.It was purchased in 1960. You can tell from the picture of the sofa and of the ottiman, just what the fabric is like. Vintage Scandinavian sofa. Attributed to Folke Ohlsson for Dux. Heavy cotton upholstery in soft tones of white, grey, lavender and cream. Curved back and exposed wooden frame make this sofa a perfect example of mid century Danish design. In very good vintage condition. With light wear due to age. Some scuffing to the wooden feet, as pictured. Fabric has some small snags and three or four droplet-sized stains, but none noticeable. A typical example is pictured. Cushions are upholstered on both sides, with neither side showing uneven wear. The rear cushion springs on the right side have softened in comparison to the left, but it is not noticeable visually. Vintage Antique 1920's Era White Wicker Chaise Lounge Sofa Couch Chic and Shabby
This is a very nice vintage white wicker chaise lounge. It is very well constructed. With springs and a bottom cushion. It had a back cushion but I washed it and it didn't make it! It is hard to measure due to the shape, but measures approximately 63" in length from the top to the bottom edge of the cushion. 38" from the floor to the top of the back, and 24" across at the foot base. Please ask for specific items to be measured and I will do my best. Some of the brackets underneath are loose and need to be tightened. There is one spot on the front bottom that needs to be repaired where some of the wicker is broke(see pic) I think a bit of glue will fix this problem. Naturally there are signs of wear for it's age.
