It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. The set Includes the following. The sofa which measures approximately 112 inches long that’s 9 foot 4 inches long, 36 inches wide, and 30 inches tall. The sofa has one solid long cushion for the seat, and 5 back cushions. The cushions are Black and tan color. A very unique design. This couch seats 4 very comfortably, without any trouble. The trim around the bottom is very unique, its multi colored ranging from blackish to brown, green, tan, and even a sand color, the trim around the very bottom is Black, There are NO noticeable scratches on the trim. The chair has a platform built on to the end which could be used as an end table for both the couch and the chair. ... moreThe chair/end table piece measures approximately 84 inches long that’s 7 foot, 33 inches wide, and 30 inches tall. The seat has one cushion for the seat and one for the back. The platform/end table is the same pattern as the couches trim. The trim around this piece is also same pattern as the couch. The coffee table is very unique; either side slides out to accommodate both the long couch and the chair or retracts in with ease to make more room. The coffee table measures approximately 84 inches long that’s 7 foot when fully extended, and 60 inches or 5 foot when retracted. The coffee table stands approximately 16 ½ inches tall, and is 35 inches wide. Below the coffee table 4 foot stools are stored. Each of them have the matching pattern on all sides, with black leather Tops. They each measure approximately 16 inches by 16 inches wide and stand approximately 12 inches tall. Description: Offered here is an awesome mid century modern two piece sectional sofa. Angular style in the manner of Paul Laszlo. Designer and manufacturer are unknown. Dates to the early 1950s. Features three button tufted backs and loose cushion seats. The original upholstery is brown with abstract lines running through it. The legs are blonde tapered wood that are set back from the edges to make the sections appear to be floating. A popular mid century design due to the smaller atomic ranches of the 50s to give the illusion of more space. The arms are cushioned and are set at an angle. The bottom edge of the ends taper up to mimic the same lines of the arms. Comes with matching arm covers. Looks great together or with a corner table sitting at an angle. Vintage Scandinavian sofa. Attributed to Folke Ohlsson for Dux. Heavy cotton upholstery in soft tones of white, grey, lavender and cream. Curved back and exposed wooden frame make this sofa a perfect example of mid century Danish design. In very good vintage condition. With light wear due to age. Some scuffing to the wooden feet, as pictured. Fabric has some small snags and three or four droplet-sized stains, but none noticeable. A typical example is pictured. Cushions are upholstered on both sides, with neither side showing uneven wear. The rear cushion springs on the right side have softened in comparison to the left, but it is not noticeable visually. The sofa measures 82 inches long. 32 inches deep, and 31 inches high to the top of the backrest. The height from the ground to the top of the armrest at the front is 21.5 inches. Vintage Antique 1920's Era White Wicker Chaise Lounge Sofa Couch Chic and Shabby
This is a very nice vintage white wicker chaise lounge. It is very well constructed. With springs and a bottom cushion. It had a back cushion but I washed it and it didn't make it! It is hard to measure due to the shape, but measures approximately 63" in length from the top to the bottom edge of the cushion. 38" from the floor to the top of the back, and 24" across at the foot base. Please ask for specific items to be measured and I will do my best. Some of the brackets underneath are loose and need to be tightened. There is one spot on the front bottom that needs to be repaired where some of the wicker is broke(see pic) I think a bit of glue will fix this problem. Naturally there are signs of wear for it's age. This is a GORGEOUS Hollywood Regency style sofa that will make a statement in your home. It is on trend with Pantone's 2013 color of the year. And is cover in a fabulous crushed velvet that has seen little wear. Any variation in the color is due to the lighting on the velvet. There is no fading on this sofa. I keep wanting to call it Robin's Egg Blue. It makes me so happy just to look at it! The legs are made of a metal that looks like tarnished copper. They give it a very nice touch. This is a beautiful Mid Century Sofa and Chair in a soft turquoise blue. Built in the 1950's by Rowe Manufacturing Co. The set is extremely sound and sturdy with no wobbling. Rowe Manufacturing was(and still is) an upscale furniture manufacturer. The frame is constructed of solid wood and the springs are all in tack with no sagging. This set has been in one home with one owner since it was made in the 1950's. That home was a non-smoking and no-pet home. The fabric appears to be a very thick, heavy nylon blend. There are no stains! There is visible wear only on the cording edge of the chair arms and minor wear on the cording edge of the sofa. Please see pictures as they are part of this description. Wood slat back with the original upholstered zippered seat and back cushions(red) CONDITION: Great vintage condition with typical wear due to age and use. The wood is in excellent condition– minor dings and marks due to age and use. The upholstery is faded and worn. The foam in the seat cushions is a bit more broken down/compressed than the foam in the back cushions. The couch strapping is sturdy the way it is now as someone has added extra strapping and an inner frame along the bottom frame of the couch– in order to attach the extra strapping from side to side(to support the original front to back strapping that had lost elasticity) Only visible with cushions off of the couch. However. It you want to bring it back ... moreto its original glory, the strapping underneath the seat cushions needs to be replaced. You can order these online. www.fagasstraps.com would be one source. They are very easy to install– just slide the end of the straps right into the groves.
