There is one button missing on the front of the seat. It needs to be re-set back down. Along with one other button cover missing from the armrest. See pictures. There are a few wear spots around the sofa. Mostly on the seat cushion. See pictures. There is a light mark on the bottom part of the back of the sofa. See picture. There is some dust/ dirt in the holes where the buttons are. Ive gotten most of it out. But you need a small brush or something similar to get it all out. Overall. This beautiful green leather Chesterfield sofa is no exception. The cushions are quite comfortable and the look of the buttoned green leather is unparalleled. This couch is in excellent condition with the leather having the proper amount of wear but no damage to it. This Chesterfield was made in England and the circa date is about 1980. The entire couch sits on mahogany bun feet and a birch frame that are quite strong and sturdy. The sofa was recently refurbished in England to bring back the leather's original color and luster as well as having the seat cushions re-stuffed. The seat height measures 17.5" A beautiful green leather Chesterfield sofa. Looks great from all angles. The cushions are removable for easy cleaning. The cushions are soft enough to be comfortable. But firm enough that you don't sink into them. The rolled arms are part of the classic Chesterfield look. The buttoned leather back is gorgeous. These mahogany bun feet are quite sturdy. The chair has been skillfully hand crafted by mounting a(date stamped) 1989, Mercedes Benz, E-Class, rear seat, upon a heavy gage, steel frame, custom made for this seat. Attention to detail was not spared and the frame has been formed to the contours of the seat back. The frame includes side arms with a Mid Century Modern design/form. It has been finished in black paint. The leather is soft and the seat is in excellent vintage condition with no rips, stains, etc. The arm rest is in tact and fully functional. The seat still has the original, German, paper manufacturer's tag attached to the back as well as serial numbers. Minor wear marks throughout Spot of discoloration to one cushion Hidden casters Beautiful red leather, This unique Chesterfield is a double drop arm leather sofa made by Dellbrook Furniture Ltd in England sometime around the year 1980. It features two arm rests that drop down to extend the sofa into a very large chaise that is great for napping! The leather used is a fine red color that has become rich and full of character since being built. All three cushions are soft. Comfortable, and can be ... moreremoved for easy cleaning. Tightly buttoned arm rests give the English leather sofa a classic feel while the shaped bottom and bun feet provide a unique flair. Hidden inside each of the four bun feet are small casters. These casters allow the sofa to roll, but are not so sensitive that it moves when you sit down on it. As mentioned. Both arm rests drop down. While in the upright position they stay in place by virtue of friction with the back rest. The height at which they lower down can be adjusted with the support ropes on either side. These ropes can be lengthened or shortened to achieve the optimal angle for the arms to drop to. While not sturdy enough to support being sat on while dropped, the arm rests can support either the head or feet of someone laying on the sofa. The sofa extends to 108″ wide with both arms dropped all the way. You will notice the maker’s label on the middle of the skirt across the bottom. The label reads“Dellbrook.
