It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. This is a really great piece because it is smaller than most and can fit in to any area. It measures 65" x 21" x 18 1/2" at highest point. It was just reupholstered. Looks beautiful. Here are it's flaws. There is a seam going across where the slant meets the pillow. That seam looks like it might not be strong. I would reinforce it. There is a bit of chunk on the bottom as noted in the picture. I like to list everything. If you have further questions please ask. With few flaws, slight fading, and gently worn near piping areas; there is a slight separation of fabric(on the curved center piece, right hand side) from frame that can be easily repaired and is hardly visible. Mid Century Cube chair- the saga I spotted the stylish modern chair somewhere on a porch. I believe. The fabric was in bad shape and the foam was mashed up, but, the frame was good and full of possibilities. To go back before this day, I had purchased very expensive, wonderful fabric at an upholsterers yard sale. I knew the chair would be perfect for this great design fabric. I signed up for upholstery class and took the chair as my project. I dropped out of the class after one class- upholstry is hard and takes skills I have not yet developed! OK. Then, I enrolled and paid for another attempt at the class. I never went. Finally, a very good, professional upholster did a wonderful job restoring the chair and putting on the fabric. It was just as attractive as I had envisioned. Now, the bad news is that I ended up spending wayyyy too much ... moremoney on the chair. The good news is I am selling the chair for under what I have in it, only $195.00. I now enjoy looking at it, but have used it very little because I did not have room for the chair originally, but it looks sooo good. Up for your consideration is a Vintage Mid Century Modern 1950's Day bed sofa/couch. This folds down to make into a bed. And has storage underneath. This is red in color and the color is very bright and vibrant still, don't think it was sat on much. Pulled it directly from the house it has been sitting in since they purchased it new, back in the 50's. Overall in very nice condition, some very minor flaws in the material, but had to look a couple times to really notice them. Just a very nice couch that is in great condition, even includes 2 original matching throw pillows. Sits great and very well made piece of furniture. I have been dealing with retro furniture for 12 years and this is the first day bed couch I have ever come across in Red. Also Has chrome legs wit wood arm rests on each side. I purchased these used at a vintage store in Detroit about 20 years ago. They are Bauhaus chairs. These were the early development of apartment furnishings. Ridiculous cheap for these one chair alone is worth more in the right circles. Lightweight and strong to support weight. I added fantastic Bright Red Casters. Top of the line to give mobility and more comfort to a classic style. The frames are slightly different- where the hand rests are. One is slightly rounded and the other flat, indicating their time periods. verify for your self. Available for local pick up.
