Heres a vintage sofa in the Hollywood Regency or Country French style. Not too sure which style to call it. This came from the original owners Estate where its been covered in plastic since new. The plastic is tattered a bit and kinda dingy on the outside and I wouldnt keep it. But for now its doing an excellent job in protecting the fabric. Carved wood frame with a pale yellow velvet fabric. Ive had the plastic off and the fabric is in outstanding shape. In fact its like new. There is a small amount of dust and debris that will simply have to be vacuumed off but this will look great once set up and plastic off. Complete with the original plastic covers on it. The fabric is absolutely mint(thanks, Grandma! and quite beautiful. We are told it was one of her prize possessions and obviously well cared for. Purchased in the late 50's or early 60's and still in fabulous condition. The cushions are still soft and supple and the springs are all intact. 8 way, hand tied construction. Down filled Couch and Chair Hollywood Regency
This is a 2 piece sofa and chair. Some years ago it was re-stuffed with down and recovered and is in great condition! We can not see any signs of wear and tear on the couch. The arm of the chair has 3 little spots that range from 1/4" to 1/2" It's likely that this couch was scotch guarded and it just needs to be cleaned. See the last 2 pictures- you have to look hard to see them. There are no holes. Tears, or rips. It is very comfortable since it is stuffed with down. This was in a room where no one was allowed to go into so it has had very little use. Beautiful Hollywood Regency Style low back white sofa made by Meyer. Gunther, and Martini Furniture Company. Meyer, Gunther, and Martini was a New York based company that created high end furniture pieces in the mid 1900's. This sofa has mid-century hollywood regency flair. The wood frame is delicately carved on back arms and skirt. The arms have a small roll accented with a rosette and legs have an elongated urn shape. These details add to the grace of the sofa while not competing with the classic clean overall lines. The single seat cushion is filled with 25% down and 75% feather for extra comfort. For your consideration is a Beautiful Vintage Chartreuse Crushed Velvet Hollywood Regency era Chesterfield Sofa by Broyhill Premier! It is in the exact condition shown. With no obvious soiling or stains that I can see and the only damage being two small punctures on one top back corner as shown in the closeup. They have not spread for as long as I've had the sofa and are not visible from the front or distracting at all. The color is more accurate in the first 5 photographs, which were taken inside our warehouse. The others were taken outside at sunset, so appear more golden orange than the sofa really is. This beautiful Mid Century Modern Sofa is 9' 109" in length. It has the great Hollywood Regency style upholstered in a lovely gold colored cotton felt. On the original order receipt it shows the color as"Antique" This vintage couch is plush and comfortable. It has a rare ONE LONG bottom cushion. This sofa was very well taken care of. It is in excellent condition for its age. No rips or tears. Vintage 40s 50s Mid Century Modern Sofa Couch Art Deco Hollywood Regency 2 Pc
Terrific vintage 2 piece rounded mid century modern sofa is a one-of-a-kind! It is in good vintage condition with a few minor imperfections. There are a couple of stains as shown in the photos. One of the back corners shows wear to the fabric. And an overall cleaning would freshen the piece up again. Structurally still very sound and secure. The frame is strong and sturdy. The cushion foam is still firm and even with no lumps or worn down areas. Each individual piece of the sectional measures 5 feet long each for a total of 10 feet total length.
