The frame is in very good condition and the fabric is OK as well. The springs will need to tightened though. Pink is the color of the fabric. Which is in good shape. Nicely carved arms and legs. The piece has new fabric, but could be recovered again if you desire. All the pieces were completely gone over. The wood was refinished. Hi this item is located in Rochester Michigan 48307. I am 20 miles Nw of Detroit. 1 1/2 hours from Toledo and 5 1/2 hours from Chicago. You can contact for a door to door delivery quote. For sale is a vintage French Provincial sofa from the 1940's- 1950's. I had this piece reupholstered and had new cushions made. The spring were also tightened. I paid around $1400.00 to the reupholsters. It took over 15 yards of fabric to recover. The sofa has a decorative carved wood frame. The piece is in really great condition. Vintage Mid Century Tuxedo Style Sofa This item is part of an estate sale for a client who is down sizing from a large home to an assisted living condominium. It is a wonderful mid century sofa with a tuxedo style frame that looks great. Depending on the upholstery fabric. The tuxedo style sofa frame goes with any type of decor-from traditional to contemporary. The sofa is in good condition, structurally sound, clean, and very well cared for. The frame is heavy solid wood and the cushions sit firm. Our inspection confirms a very well constructed frame. There are no loose frame areas or un-even legs. The owner told us the sofa was manufactured by Baker and purchased in 1979 or 1980. It was re-upholstered once in 1992 when she decided to relocate it from her living room to her sun-room. As a result of the re-upholstering, the label is no longer ... moreattached. It has 3 loose box seat cushions, 3 loose back cushions with a knife edge, and 2 loose side cushions with a knife edge. The legs have a great modern wedge shape as seen in the pictures and would look great exposed if you choose to re-upholster. The fabric appears to be cotton floral in good condition with the exception of wear on the welt of the center cushion and some slight wear to the welt located on the left side of the sofa. We believe the slight wear on the left side welt of the sofa is due to the sofa rubbing against a brick wall in the sun-room. The wear on the center cushion welt was caused by her 4 year old great grandchild cutting the welt with a pair of scissors she was using to cut pictures from a coloring book. We just love the stories our clients share with us. The springs are 8-way hand tied. The dimensions are 83" long, 32" deep, 28" high. This leather is a top grade leather ... morethat was semi-aniline dyed a gorgeous oxblood(burgundy) color. Semi-aniline dyed leather is ideal for sofas as it provides wonderful color while maintaining a protective layer of“finish” on the leather. With a seating area that measures 48.5″ wide x 25″ deep and is 15.5 from the floor, there is plenty of space to relax! The arm rests are a comfortable 21.5″ from the floor. Very subtle mahogany bun feet keep the sofa off the floor. Overall this sofa is rated as good condition. There are a few flaws to point out. Minor wear marks exist here and there throughout the sofa as you will see in some of the detail images. The right side(as you sit on the sofa) has two small cuts in the leather just below the arm rest on the outside. Because they are just below the arm rest they don’t jump out at you. This prized rare sofa has beautiful lines; A camelback Queen Anne style gorgeous piece also has fabric in pristine condition. The seat cushion is removable and has a hidden zipper. But the couch was so minimally used that it is still super comfortable and supportive. The legs have some great detailing; the lines and the legs are the most unique and special aspects. The legs do have some minor scuffs that could easily be buffed out or even sanded and re-stained. Based on the type of tags, the manufacturer said this would have been from their first few years in business, so early 1960's. Milo Baughman Style Mid Century Wood Encased Loveseat Flair by Bernhardt Vintage
Gorgeous wood encased loveseat in the style of Milo Baughman. This is a vintage item from the 1970's and in overall very good condition for the age. The fabric has some tears along the seams and I would recommend recovering the sofa which wouldn't be too difficult since most of the sofa is wood. The pillows and some small sections attached to the sofa would need to be recovered(if you so desired) I just can't help but think how fabulous this would be in a Kelly green velvet! I am also selling the matching sofa. This loveseat was manufactured by Flair for Bernhardt. The loveseat comes on casters and can roll around making if easy to change around your environment. Fresh out of a smoke free estate, the couch and chairs look great and feel great as well, I am not into this style of furniture(we normally buy primitives for our store) but when we seen this on a house call me and my wife knew we had to buy it, all three items are in excellent condition, no staining at all that we can see, no rips or tears either( I can see only one pinky size tear in the webbing underneath one chair) some of the legs have tape brown electric style tape wrapped around them I didn't take this off I think this was done to protect them from scuffing. The legs are slanted and they are all very tight, no wobbling. The cushions on the couch are the same design front and back while the chair cushions have the same green ... morelook on one side and on the other it has a 1960's patio furniture floral design(it is a cloth style fabric) the items all have a maker badge of"International" The approx. measurements of the couch is 89" long and the chairs are about 32" wide.
