This beautiful green leather Chesterfield sofa is no exception. The cushions are quite comfortable and the look of the buttoned green leather is unparalleled. This couch is in excellent condition with the leather having the proper amount of wear but no damage to it. This Chesterfield was made in England and the circa date is about 1980. The entire couch sits on mahogany bun feet and a birch frame that are quite strong and sturdy. The sofa was recently refurbished in England to bring back the leather's original color and luster as well as having the seat cushions re-stuffed. The seat height measures 17.5" A beautiful green leather Chesterfield sofa. Looks great from all angles. The cushions are removable for easy cleaning. The cushions are soft enough to be comfortable. But firm enough that you don't sink into them. The rolled arms are part of the classic Chesterfield look. The buttoned leather back is gorgeous. These mahogany bun feet are quite sturdy. Simultaneously hip and sophisticated. This mid-century sofa has been given a new life by Jean Alan, Inc. With it's interesting kidney shape, low back and freeform curves, it is emblematic of the style of the great designer Vladimir Kagan. This awesome vintage piece has been restored using the highest quality European furniture& upholstery techniques by local artisans. The new upholstery is high-end, green calf suede. The removable, single seat cushion is attached to the sofa with a d-ring and hook mechanism. The legs have adjustable levelers and are in an espresso finish, 4" high. Overall length is 84" and the depth is 40" Seat depth is 24" in the middle and 27" at the deepest points. I recommend cleaning to handle a couple of minor issues. I would think that someone in the know can touch up the minor pin holes. I've had several people ask about shipping. This piece is so cool. The design and the color are really awesome. This is a early 60s sofa in the design of Sergio Rodrigues, with a solid walnut frame and cool avocado green upholstery. It is very well made with a solid walnut frame the is very tight and sturdy. The upholstery is a very soft(imitation leather) vinyl that except for the three seat cushions is in very good condition. As you can see from the photos with the exception of the three seat cushions(which aren't reversible) and one small spot on the back top corner that is an easy fix, the upholstery is very nice and can be used as is. I was going to just have the three seat cushions redone in the same color(if I could find it) or a darker green that would look very nice as well. The wood it self needs a clean up as the piece has been in storage for a while, it would be easy ... moreto refinish it as well. This looks to be a higher end piece as the design and construction are very high quality. It is also super comfortable very soft and supportive, it feels almost like a down filled piece. 1960's Flexsteel Blue Green Tufted Sofa 5 Piece Sectional Couch Excellent 12x10
This is a truly wonderful sectional in near mint condition. It dates to the mid-sixties. There are 5 pieces so you can arrange them how you like or have a smaller couch and a loveseat on a separate wall. This was in a living room that was unused for most of its life. There is some dust on the tufted button areas but there are no stains or wear spots. There are 3 flaws. One button is missing, one plastic wheel ring is missing and there is a small slit on the back of one piece. Some of the cushions have a crunchy sound like there is a plastic or laminate coating on the exterior of the foam. Both sides of all cushions are excellent and match the rest of the upholstery. The original flyer was found under a cushion and the end arm rest cover is still where it should be! It measures approx. 12' one direction and 10' the other. It stands ... more27" tall at the back with the seats 15.75" from the floor. The distance from front to back is 32" All pieces are solid as a rock. Absolutely amazing couch! This is a vintage. 1950's two piece, green, sofa set. It has two sections and they are armless. The color is green and the fabric is in excellent condition. Each sofa measures 56 inches long, 37 inches deep and 30 inches tall at the back. These were bought new in Duluth by my sister in 1959. They have been in her spare bedroom for many years, rarely used and free of any tears, stains, spots or worn areas. They have the original fabric. The sofas have always been in a pet and smoke free environment. There is no manufacturing name visible. Mid-Century Retro Vintage Antique 1950s Green Sofa Couch & Chair Recovered 1960s
This auction is for a 1950's Vintage Mid-Century Retro Floral Green Couch and Chair that has been recovered in the 1960's. The color just pops off of the couch and chair. There are springs in the cushions. As well as, int he couch for better bounce. It has been been steamed cleaned by a professional the chair and the couch both just a few weeks ago. The couch underneath has a small rip in the black see through fabric. Please see pictures. One of the four metal bars has come loose and the black see through fabric will have to be pulled away in that area to tighten the bar back in place. They made things well years ago. There is a small worn area on the corner of one of the cushions on the couch but hard to see. When you remove the couch cushions you will see a stained area. Oxi clean can probably get that out. A very rare offering of a set of three original Knoll throw pillows in a mixed blue/ green hopsack fabric. The colors are a little hard to capture. The green looks a bit gold in some of the shots; best description of them is a light turquoise blue and lime green. These were made by Knoll c 60s, they were a custom add on item for furniture purchases, this set was originally purchased from Knoll along with an orange mixed color hopsack covered vertical bar love seat. THERE IS ALSO ONE ON ETSY, WHICH IS NOT LIKE THIS ONE, VERY PLAIN, FOR SALE FOR $1,995.00 IN FORT WORTH, BUT UNLIKE MINE, THIS COUCH IS WARPED AND NO LONGER FOLDS DOWN INTO A BED OR FUTON. MY COUCH IS IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION WITH JUST VERY MINOR IMPERFECTIONS AND STILL FOLDS DOWN INTO BED. VERY SMALL AND HARDLY NOTICEABLE. THE WOOD ARMS OF THE COUCH ARE IN FABULOUS CONDITION WITH NO STAINS OR WATERMARKS. THE ONLY REAL WEAR TO THE COUCH IS UNDERNEATH. WHEN YOU LIFT UP THE COUCH TO FOLD INTO BED, YOU CAN SEE THAT VERY THIN LINER OVER THE METAL SPRINGS IS TORN IN SEVERAL PLACES. THIS WOULD BE A VERY EASY REPLACEMENT IF DESIRED. THERE IS ALSO A MISSING WOOD PEG ON ONE LEG(SEE CLOSEUP PHOTO) AND WHEN YOU FOLD THE COUCH OUT INTO A BED, THERE IS A SMALL STRIP IN THE CENTER OF THE COUCH WHERE THE NAUGAHYDE IS DARKER THAN WHAT YOU CAN SEE WHEN THE COUCH IS NOT FOLDED OUT. THIS WAS CAUSED BY THE COUCH NOT BEING FOLDED OUT THAT MUCH OVER THE YEARS SO THAT STRIP WAS COVERED AND DIDN'T FADE AS MUCH AS THE REST. YOU CANNOT SEE THIS STRIP WHEN THE COUCH IS NOT FOLD DOWN INTO A BED. PLEASE MOVE YOUR CURSOR OVER ALL OF THE MANY PHOTOS TO ASSESS THE BEAUTIFUL OVERALL CONDITION AND TO SEE THE LINER. Up For Bid: Vintage Mid Century Modern Green 3 Pc Couch& Chairs Adrian Pearsall See photos. Fresh out of a smoke free estate, the couch and chairs look great and feel great as well, I am not into this style of furniture(we normally buy primitives for our store) but when we seen this on a house call me and my wife knew we had to buy it, all three items are in excellent condition, no staining at all that we can see, no rips or tears either( I can see only one pinky size tear in the webbing underneath one chair) some of the legs have tape brown electric style tape wrapped around them I didn't take this off I think this was done to protect them from scuffing. The legs are slanted and they are all very tight, no wobbling. The cushions on the couch are the same design front and back while the chair cushions have the same green look on one ... moreside and on the other it has a 1960's patio furniture floral design(it is a cloth style fabric) the items all have a maker badge of"International" We had sold this couch a few hours initially after listing it last week, the man who had bought it realized it was not going to fit down the hallway of his apartment, so here it is again for sale. The man that bought this says it is the style of an Adrian Pearsall piece. This is very clean and there should be reason to have it reupholstered. Ready to be but in your living room right now. The approx. measurements of the couch is 89" long and the chairs are about 32" wide.
