Danish oil finish, springs, cushions, hardware, and upholstery, and all items are absolutely rock solid with no loose joints, no squeeking and/or broken springs. Both this number and the style suggest the furniture was built in 1959. Interior Decorator Designed Custom built for Margolis Furniture Company- Couch. Chair, Coffee Table and 2 End Tables. All have Brass Ferrules(now tarnished) Couch and Chair have a handmade slip-cover that is a crushed velour material. Original Material is pictured in photo. It is a light green color polyester/nylon type material with a pattern. There is a separation of original material on couch under slip cover at outer top edge of back of couch. Couch is 82" long. 35" deep and 29" tall. Chair is 42" long. 36" deep and 28" tall. Couch and Chair both have blonde wooden feet. Slip cover of Love seat has quarter sized hole in seat cushion cover. End tables are all wood. Finish is wearing off. Original hardware. But tarnished. Decorative strip on drawers is loose. Drawers open but not smoothly and can get stuck. ... moreEnd tables are 18" wide. 28" deep, and 24 1/2" tall. One end table drawer has a drop of polyurethane in it with a thumb tack stuck upside down. Coffee table is 43" long. 19 1/4" wide, and 16 3/4" high. Blonde finish. This auction is for an awesome living room set with fresh red upholstery that's both comfortable and has real visual depth. Great lines on these vintage triple chrome plate frames. The bottom of each frame has a rosewood or walnut looking veneer. The set would look stunning in your loft apartment or studio.
