The fabric Herman Miller label is complete but barely hanging on to the underside of the sofa. Circa 1970 Herman Miller Chadwick Seating in very good usable condition. Eight inward curving pieces make a half circle with a 7 foot inner diameter and approx. 12 foot outer diameter. I have tried to photograph the flaws. So keep in mind that although there are some bent corners on the plastic bases, most of the corners(there are 32 corners) are not bent. Herman Miller Chadwick Modular Seating group in very good usable condition. Designed by Don Chadwick in 1974. Eight inward curving pieces make a half circle with a 7 foot inner diameter and approx. 12 foot outer diameter. I have tried to photograph the flaws. So keep in mind that although there are some bent corners on the plastic bases, most of the corners(there are 32 corners) are not bent. There are two more corners similar to picture 6. You are bidding on vintage Heman Miller sofa set of 10 pieces(six angle seats and 4 straight seats) They were reupholstered in black about 8 years ago but still look pretty good and no rips but some fade and you may wish to reupholster to match your taste. All the foams and plastic bottom platforms are in real good shape and as an added bonus this set may have some value to Eastern Airlines collectors since they originally belong to Eastern Airlines and their sticker is still there to prove that. I purchased them at auction when Easter went bankrupt many years ago. As is and no return. Pick up only so please ask questions prior to bidding. Ray Wilkes Herman Miller Blue Chiclet Sofa
Fantastic 70's super mod. Space-age Ray Wilkes Chiclet sofa, manufactured by Herman Miller. Rare 3-seat version with solid wood(walnut or teak? end tables attached on both sides. Wilkes designed these sofas for Herman Miller in the late 1970s. Certainly in the same spirit of pieces by Vernor Panton and Pierre Paulin. Original nubby wool-blend fabric in a rich. Deep bright blue. Foam is in great shape, no sagging, lumps etc. Fabric is in nice shape with the only exception being a 1.5 inch section on one arm where the decorative overstitching has come undone. This doesn't compromise the integrity of the seam at all(the seams are perfectly tight and stable throughout) and could easily be repaired by hand. Side tables are beautiful and are very thick and heavy. Some typical scratches. But no stains or watermarks. Really lovely grain patterns ... moreand alternating wood colors. They are 23" square by 1" thick. It is a vintage 70's piece. So could likely use a cleaning if you are really picky. The dimensions are approx. 10.5 feet long by 2.5 feet deep, 28" max height at back. Available for local pickup. Also willing to work with a buyer on shipping. Meet a shipper for pickup, take to a drop off somewhere within reason, etc. But the arrangements are entirely up to you. Sofa is non returnable.

George Nelson for Herman Miller Mid-Century Modern Steel Frame Sofa Couch
For your consideration is this George Nelson design sofa for Herman Miller. It is their Steel Frame line and this one features a 3 cushion design with an attached end table. It measures just shy of 8' long overall and 28" tall at the back. It is 26" deep overall with a seat height of about 16" The attached white laminate table measures 24x24" While I have no doubt the sofa is as described. It would appear that this one is unsigned. It does show an identifying mark from Northern Illinois University. It is a strikingly modern design that is long and low, very much in keeping with the mid-century aesthetic. It remains in very nice as found condition with only a smudge or two on the back and a small area of minor wear to the back of one corner. Nothing that detracts. Mid Century Eames Compact sofa by Herman Miller rare color almost mint conditon
Up for sale is a near mint Herman Miller Eames compact sofa. I say near mint because there is a small scratch on the rear right black curved bracket. The scratch is facing the floor. So you will never see it. There is a speck of white paint on the top right which you can see in the photo. I will take it off before it leaves here. The same picture shows the sun on the back, there is no fading whatsoever on this piece, that's just the sun. Everything is as good as it gets with this one. The color is a kind of a crimson red, not the really bright red and not very dark either. It's slightly darker than the outside pictures show. The inside picture is really close. The springs underneath have no rust. The person I bought this from said it was stored for a few years and I believe it. It's dated 2006.
