This is a fabulous 6 piece vintage wicker set. It is from the late 1930's and would be perfect for a porch or sunroom or cottage. The upholstery shows no wear and is the sturdy nubby kind that was popular in the 1950's. My grandma had a davenport in this fabric but I cannot remember what it is called. It literally never wears out! I am guessing that it was re-upholstered in the 50's. I will list the pieces and their dimensions below. 1. Easy Chair- 33" tall. 27 1/4" wide, seat is 22 1/2" deep, 17" from floor to top of cushion in front. 2. Occasional Chair- 33 1/2" tall. 29 1/2" wide, 21" deep. 3. Rocking Chair- 32" tall. 28 1/2" wide, 20" deep 4. Bookcase/end table- 30" tall. 27" wide, 12 1/4" deep, has two shelves- open on front and back, closed at both ends. 5. ... moreFloor Lamp- 61" at tallest. 15" diameter base, has pull chain- may or may not work. 6. Coffee Table- 23" tall. 31 1/2" in diameter This is a beautiful set- it is rare to see this many pieces that have the matching design in the wicker. All are in excellent condition- given their age. Mini Set Wicker Furniture Chairs and Table Doll Furniture Set
This is an amazing set of 4 well made mini wicker furniture pieces. The quality is absolutely fantastic from all angles including the bottom(pic4.5) which is assembled from real wood which is unusual for wicker furniture sets. I love the added green and red color weave to make this set different from the other ones. I've seen many doll furniture/wicker pieces but this one must be one of the best in terms of quality and craftsmanship. The shorter chairs measures aprox. 5" height x 4 1/2" wide, the bigger chair measures 5" height x 7" wide, the end table measures 3" height x 3 1/4" wide. All of the chairs are the same height which makes this a really nice set and pleasing to the eyes. Vtg. Antique child's chair. Wicker cane children's Victorian furniture, decor! This antique chair is a charmer! From the days of gentility and decorum! This little chair was a copy of an adult's cane chair. And was a cherished one! It is made from bent wood, cane and wicker or reed. It may very well have been handcrafted, as I have never seen another like it. It measures 20" high. 19" wide, and 11-3/4" deep. At one time the seat wore through and was covered with a piece of corduroy, which has proven to be pretty sturdy stuff! It has some of the most unique construction I have seen, and looks like it may have been constructed of bits and pieces of what was handy or available at the time. Three of the legs have a metal tip, another thing that makes this chair different! Most of the chairs frame was wrapped in the ... morewicker, and over the years much of it has come off. Wonderfully and uniquely made with it's large back and bamboo seat. Chair Measurements: 37" from base to top of back 25" deep 24" wide from floor to seat 18 1/2" 22 3/4" from seat to top seat itself measures 19 1/2" x 17" each weighs approximately 13 pounds CONDITION I took a picture of the front of each chair. I then took detail pictures of one chair to show you the wear which resemble the wear on the rest of the chairs. Natural wicker doll furniture for a Barbie or other doll of about the same size. There is a settee. Two chairs and a small table. The settee seating area measures 5 inches wide by 3 inches deep and the settee back height is 5 inches. The 2 chairs are the same and the seating area measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches deep and the chair backs are 4 1/2 inches high. The table has a 3 inch diameter top and is 3 1/2 inches high. Love seat is 9.5" x 6" x 8" chair is 6.5" x 6" x 8" Made of a small diameter rattan& a twisted grass cord. I don't know the age of these, but they are probably pre-WWII.
