Chair suspension, chrome and paint are in pretty good shape. It is only missing two of the plastic/rubber carpet protectors(see eBay for spare feet) and the head cushion. Nevertheless. You can have 95% of the visual effect and comfort of this chair for substantially reduced cost through me. I found the round head pillow to be too high. Stiff and uncomfortable anyways. Mid Century Cube chair- the saga I spotted the stylish modern chair somewhere on a porch. I believe. The fabric was in bad shape and the foam was mashed up, but, the frame was good and full of possibilities. To go back before this day, I had purchased very expensive, wonderful fabric at an upholsterers yard sale. I knew the chair would be perfect for this great design fabric. I signed up for upholstery class and took the chair as my project. I dropped out of the class after one class- upholstry is hard and takes skills I have not yet developed! OK. Then, I enrolled and paid for another attempt at the class. I never went. Finally, a very good, professional upholster did a wonderful job restoring the chair and putting on the fabric. It was just as attractive as I had envisioned. Now, the bad news is that I ended up spending wayyyy too much ... moremoney on the chair. The good news is I am selling the chair for under what I have in it, only $195.00. I now enjoy looking at it, but have used it very little because I did not have room for the chair originally, but it looks sooo good. Mid Century Modern designer sofa and lounge chair by Jens Risom. The sofa has issues of wear. Fading along a strip at the top of the back of the sofa(see pic 5) There is soiling underneath the cushions on the material near the label(see pic 3) There are marks and claw marks along the cushions(see pics 4.6& 7 for examples) The lounge chair does not have the label. Sofa measures: 90" long x 28" tall x 31" deep. When new cushions were put into the original fabric, the upholsterer did not tighten up the sofa. So, the arms are a bit wobbly but can easily be tightened up when reupholstered. Chair measures 27.5" wide x 28" deep x 29" tall approximately. We have an outstanding pair of vintage loveseats and lounge chair set from the 1950s. Eames era, in burnt organ fabric and walnut. The set reflects the Danish Modern style of the period with its distinctive sculptural form. The furniture frames are made of solid walnut, durable, sturdy and in excellent condition. There is some minor surface wear on the right hand armrest of one of the loveseats. One minor tear on the plaid side of one cushion and some minor thread wear on the cord of the plaid side of another cushion. All other cushions are in wonderful condition. It is rare to find these cushions intact. As noted in the photos, the cushions are reversible. The original coated wire springs are in excellent condition with minor areas where rubber coating is missing. Additional photos can be provided upon request.
