The legs, backing and arms are all a beautiful carved wood. The carvings are unique, I haven't really seen it before. It has an antique feel with a little bit of mod, if you look at the details. The fabric is a beautiful white with soft, white flowers. Accents of light pink and green bring it all together. It is such a beautiful couch. There may be some nicks on the wood from storing and moving it, but it is not noticeable and can easily be fixed with some Olde English. It comes from a smoke and pet free home. Fabulous gorgeous vintage sofa! French provincial carved wood design Pink silk brocade fabric with floral design This sofa was an estate piece. With the exceptions of a couple of places of aged wear this sofa is beautiful! There is a spot at the bottom of the sofa where the channeling or tube looking portion of the upholstery has worn. There is also a spot on the top of the sofa where again the tubing/channeling portion of the upholstery has come undone. I'm sure this could be fixed but I do not know how to do it myself. I will show these two things in the last two photos. There is also a spot where the seam has come apart on the interior of one arm. Other than that this sofa is in very good condition! Just lovely!
