NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING! For auction is this Mid-Century Danish style loveseat sofa. The frame is in excellent condition. With only a few scratches due to normal wear, with exception of the armrests that have a scratching mark on each of them, of about one inch where the hands rest(years ago I had a cat and she was very friendly with the corners of the armrests) but other than that, the frame is super solid wood. No wobbly parts, and no missing or broken parts. My guess is that the armsrest corners can probably be refinished. It might need new cushions cause the ones that come with it are very soiled. But they're still included with the loveseat. It was purchased about 7 years ago for about $700 in a second hand local store that only sells mid century furniture. But I'm not sure what brand is it. This rosewood case settee by Milo Baughman is in good vintage condition. Rare to see this design in rosewood. The wood is book matched& it's in excellent condition except for a few small nicks on the bottom backside(last picture shows this) They are hardly noticeable& would be easy to patch. The foam on the sofa is still nice& soft. The original fabric is in good condition. Free of any tears. Stains or bad odors with only some loose ends throughout the embroidery. These could be filled in by an upholsterer if you wish to do so but the settee can certainly be used as is. I'd recommend keeping the original fabric but it could certainly be redone affordably. Very nice chrome legs that look great and soft velvety fabric. Cool geometric pattern looking like a stitching design. The tags were removed unfortunately but the original owner said it was purchased in the 1970's at a high end store and with some research it looks to be by designer. Original owners had it covered in plastic for half of its life and no eating/drinking. Cushions are still in very good condition and not lumpy or worn down. I do not see any stains. The cushions look dark in some areas which may be due to just this type of fabric or light fading in areas(look at pictures) Underneath the sofa. My mother had this same style of sofa when I was little. I was elated when I found these. These are few and far between. Over the past few months. I've only seen one other pair and that was on Etsy for $975.They are easy to look at, don't dominate the room, easy to move and to recover, and allow for lots of flexibility. These can be placed side by side or perpendicular to each other.The previous owner let them get rained on- hence the waterstains but I've steam cleaned them, used upholstery cleaner, vacuumed them and had them airing in the sun for a week, so they are as clean as they can get without re-upholstering them. Overall condition is very good for age. There are some imperfections to be expected. Mostly blemishes on the corners and edges. Noted in photos. Legs are in great shape.
