Embedded in a circular setting, on top of some sort of hues of a pearl-based color that gives it a uniqueness that is hard to find. The pearl-based color also adorns the outside of the creamer spout. They both have embroidered gold painted rims. Including the sugar bowl top, which shows off its dynamic quality. This set will surely bring joy to any table set for tea or coffee and crumpets. This set dates back to the early 1900's. The dimensions of the creamer are. 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 3/4" The dimensions of the sugar bowl are 2 1/2" x 4" x 7/8" The only minor flaws in this set is a small chip of paint under the handle of the top of the sugar bowl and a few very tiny chips of paint on the creamer as you can see from the photos. Up for bidding is a beautiful antique sugar bowl and creamer set made by Johann Seltmann of Germany. This lovely set has a white background and is decorated with Fruit and Nuts. Both pieces are marked with the a J. S. Germany V back stamp as indicated in the photos. This trademark dates it from 1911-1932. Measurements: The creamer measures approximately 5" wide across handle-spout x 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" across the ruffled base. The lidded sugar bowl measures 6" wide across handles x 5" tall with lid x 2 3/4" across base. The pieces are in very good vintage condition. With no breaks, chips or crazing and no repairs.

Both pieces are stamped with a blue underglaze stamp which dates from 1901 or before. Hand painted numbers and letters are also present with the RW stamp. W5679 and a T or a 4. Transfer print is of blue English roses and other geometric designs through out. There is also hand painted gold gilt accents. No chips or breaks on the sugar bowl. The lid has a small flake chip which does not distract and mentioned for accuracy. No chips or breaks on the creamer. There is some light stains at the bottom of the creamer and sugar. On the bottom of both pieces pieces there is some light crazing. The transfer print and hand painted gold have no fading. Sugar with lid is 4-1/8" tall ... morecomplete. It is decorated with a large bouquet of pink and white roses with green foliage on the front. And gold trim throughout. The paint does not follow the relief design. The bottom is marked with"G" a crown with 3 circle points and"H" over"GERMANY. According to my internet research this is the mark of Greiner& Herda, in the Bavarian area of Germany, used from 1907 until 1943. Not sure what it's original purpose was- it is larger than the average sugar bowl- perhaps a candy dish or a powder bowl? It is in Good to Very Good Condition. The creamer has gone missing. Item has no markings. But I know it belonged to a lady born in the late 1880's, so it definitely dates back to the first half of the 1900's or before. This vintage pear serving piece is gorgeous! The colors of the glaze are so perfect. Including even tiny brown flecks you would see on a real pear! I believe it was used for sugar and I can't tell you the age or manufacturer but I am sure it is old. It's not shiny at all. There is a small spot on one side where it has lost its glaze. There are some hairline marks on the interior but no fissures. It's in very good condition considering its probable age. It measures approximately 3.5" tall and about 2.5" high wide at the base. ANTIQUE FLOWER SHAPED CREAMER AND SUGAR BOWL MARKED 137 VERY NEAT RARE PIECE !
This rare flower shaped creamer and sugar bowl is very dainty and neat. The inside is a yellow color with gold accent. The gold is pretty much worn away. The outside is a light blue-green color. There is what seems to me. To be a stress line in the bowl. I do not think it is a crack. Please see picture 7. There are no other damages or flaws. The bottom of the bowl is marked 137. The creamer appears to have some redish discoloration or staining on the bottom outside. This set standing together measures a little over 3" tall. The creamer is a little over 2 3/4" tall at the point. It is 4" wide from lip to handle. And approx. 2 1/2" wide the other way. The bowl is 2" at the tallest point. It is 5 1/4" at the widest. I don't know much about this cute oddity other than it sat in a china cabinet for years.

Vintage/Antique Cream Pitcher and Sugar Bowl, Made in Germany
For your consideration. This is an antique/vintage Made in Germany lusterware cream pitcher and sugar bowl. It has a lovely rose pattern border. There are hints of shades of green and pink in the lusterware. There are also additional flowers painted on the side. There are also gold accents on the front of each piece which are not worn. It's a delicate set, the pitcher measuring approximately 3 1/2" high and 4 1/2" wide. The sugar bowl to the top of the lid measuring just a bit taller. The bowl is approximately 6 1/4" wide from handle to handle. There are no chips. There is a fine line crack in the glaze in the pitcher. It is on the surface only. There is a slight amount of wear on the edge of the sugar bowl lid. The set is marked"Germany" on the bottom with the number 639 in the porcelain on the bottom of the ... morepitcher.
